The Frustration

After the three episodes were finished, it was already past midnight, and Blake still had not returned. She had been sitting in the living room waiting as if waiting had become a habit.

However, she did not see Blake for three days. The secretary had only said that Blake had always been at the construction site and that whatever he did, was not something Avery should ask, and even before they divorced, she had never asked him about his business affairs.

In Blake's words, it was a battlefield for men, and women only needed to stand behind their men and peacefully share their victory and glory.

In these three days, Avery had never stepped out of the hotel, she spent most of the time standing in front of the French window, quietly looking out of the window.

Her expression was very calm, and no one could guess what she was thinking about, or perhaps, she did not think about anything, and other than waiting, she had nothing to do.
