"Elsie, is Jax already in his room?" When Matienzo avoided the conversation and turned his attention to Elsie who was in charge of the helpers. It entered the room to bring hot tea.

“Not yet, Mr. Madrigal. Jax is waiting outside and he is sitting on the stairs. Shall I take him up to his room? ” Its polite answer as one by one lands the hot cup of tea on the table.

“No need. I’ll be outside in a few minutes and send him to his room. ”

Elsie just nodded before they left the room.

“If you have a child with another woman, how did you manage to keep it to your wife, Ruella? Wasn't it treason you did to him? How can you keep everything of this to yourself without even telling him until his end? ”

Matienzo Madrigal turned to him like an idiot and didn't seem to know what to do.

“Your company is now slowly drowning Matienzo. When this news broke I was afraid of the eventual downfall of the Madrigals. People can think of this as a crime and the CEO of the company cheating on his wife and bringing his child to the mistress after Ruella got buried is not very good news for everyone. ” Keegan's speech to Matienzo was high -pitched.

“You think I haven't thought of that yet? That’s why I called you here. I want you to fix the issue and offer them whatever they want just to leave us. ”

They quickly turned away when the woman suddenly let out a laugh.

“Do you think you can get my son and me out of here? That will not happen no matter what else you offer us. I'm done with those offers. I want my son to be a Madrigal, officially. ”

A loud trembling cry of the boy rang out and called their attention.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh !!!!"

“Jax !?” Matienzo Madrigal shouted as he hurried out of the room.

This was followed by the woman and Keegan Campbell.

They caught Jaxson holding both of his ears and shouting as if disgusted.

“Jax, what happened? Why did you shout so loudly? ” Matienzo Madrigal asked worriedly and then immediately knelt down in front of his son to see his face.

Jaxson looked up at him before he turned around and immediately ran up the stairs.

“Jax! What happened ?! ” Matienzo Madrigal shouted again before turning to the boy who was said to be his son and then turned to follow Jaxson.

Keegan Campbell turned slightly to the mother and noticed the envy in the boy's eyes. As well as the strange grin on the lady's lips as she rolled her eyes around the mansion.

“Do you see this house, son? From now on we will live here. The secret your father sends us is no longer enough for us. We don't deserve such treatment, you understand? ” The lady said to her son before he knelt in front of the boy. “Remember this son, you are a Madrigal. And a Madrigal achieves whatever its goal in life is. Because they have money. And now that we are here nothing can stop us. No one." He said emphatically without taking his eyes off his son.

[THIRD PERSON POV]

"Jaxson, baby!" A young woman named Perry shouted as she approached young Jaxson who was carrying a large number of paper bags in her hands.

Keegan Campbell and Matienzo Madrigal were distracted by his sharp voice. This woman was one of Jaxson's cousins. He is also a Madrigal and also lives in the mansion.

“So, Mr. Yves offered you to help Ruegold at the moment in exchange for the largest shares from the company? ” Keegan Campbell asked.

“Yes. He visited me yesterday to give me the offer and I already accepted it. ”

"What did you say?" Keegan exclaimed.

“Campbell, I have no other choice. If I didn’t agree with him then what else can I do to save my company? ” Both his brows are raised, looking directly at Keegan.

“Hey, boy! Can you pass me that ball? ”

Perry again grabbed their attention and they saw it calling out to young Lance who was on the side of the wall and seemed to be hiding while peeking at Jaxson.

“Go! Pass me that ball! ” It shouted without the boy moving. "That's all you can help but you can't do it yet."

Lance slowly walked towards the ball and then shyly handed it to Jaxson.

"There, now go away." Perry said rudely. "Baby Jax, you can have all of this stuff that I bought."

Lance just looked at it and then went back to his seat.

Keegan Campbell's gaze caught anger in Lance's eyes as his small fist clenched hard.

“I am too old for balls, don’t you think?” Jaxson said in a low voice.

Ever since his mother said goodbye, the spirit of young Jaxson has not returned and his voice is almost always weak when he speaks. But somehow Matienzo Madrigal was relieved because it was also almost a year before he spoke again. The doctor said it was caused by depression and trauma.

“Ugh? Baby? You are still 10. Even older boys still play with toys! Besides, I also brought some shirts, gameboys, and robots for you. ”

"Robots?" His cousin Perry was happy to say that.

"Do you like all the stuff your sister brought you?" He asked as he lifted Jaxson.

He nodded happily as he lifted the robot that Perry handed him with a smile on his lips.

“If I only knew that you like robots, I would have bought my mother at the mall. But don’t worry! I’ll go shopping the next day so I’ll make sure to grab those for you! ”

Draw a smile on the lips of young Jaxson who is in his father's arms. “Thank you”
