Chapter 7. Live in the same house

The morning before school, Allexin drove Lynda to see Lynda's new boss. On the way, a black car stopped in front of Lynda and Allexin, so Hans returned to pick Lynda up.

"Is he your boss?" asked Allexin.

Lynda shook her head, "No, he's the assistant boss." Lynda replied.

"Miss Lynda, please come in," said Hans, who had helped Lynda put Lynda's not too big suitcase into the trunk.

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me and concentrate on your schoolwork." Lynda patted Allexin on the shoulder, then got into the car with Hans, leaving Allexin to watch the black car drive away.

A sigh escaped the teenager's lips, "Luckily your boss is a good person this time, so I'm not so worried about you while you're away from home." Allexin mumbled, then left for school, even though he had failed to deliver Lynda to the boss's house.

"Who was that man?" asked Hans.

Lynda shook her head and refused to answer, Hans nodded his understanding and did not ask about Allexin. Lynda doesn't want many people to know that she has a younger brother, not because Lynda isn't proud to have Allexin as her younger brother, just because the teenager is her younger brother, then Lynda must maintain Allexin's privacy, Lynda works in many different places, she is afraid if someone uses Allexin for improper purposes.

Once again Lynda came to the big house that belongs to Nelvan, this time she will also live in that house. Living in such a big house should make Lynda happy, but in fact she couldn't calm down when she thought about what kind of work Nelvan would give her later.

Especially since she had taken him to the hospital yesterday because of a peanut allergy.

"Hans, I can bring my own things."

"It's okay, I'll help you right away. I'll show you where your room is," Hans replied, and the man carried Lynda's luggage into the house, then Hans showed her the room where Lynda would be staying.

It was much nicer than the room Lynda had before, even though it was a servant's room, but Lynda really liked the neat and clean place for her new residence.

"You will rest here, the young master prepared this room because it is not far from his room, so if the young master needs you, you can come to him immediately." Hans said, Lynda nodded.

"Today you will continue your unfinished work from yesterday, the young master is taking the other servants away for who knows how long, so until they return all the work in this house will be done by you." Hans continued, and once again Lynda nodded.

"Then I will leave, and please prepare breakfast for the young master, remember that the young master is allergic to peanuts, so make sure that any food he eats does not contain peanuts." Hans warned, Lynda nodded for the umpteenth time.

Hans went out, leaving Lynda to think about what the girl was going to do, Lynda brought her suitcase in, then went out and knocked on Nelvan's room from outside.

"Mr. Xander, it's Lynda."

"Come in," Nelvan said.

Lynda entered cautiously then stood by the door because she didn't dare to approach Nelvan, "Mr. Xander, what would you like me to make for breakfast today?" Lynda asked Nelvan, who was sitting on the sofa holding a large laptop.

"Make whatever is healthy for me to eat, but if it happens again, you will die too." Nelvan answered without turning his head.

Glekk..., Lynda swallowed her saliva with difficulty, backed away and left Nelvan's room.

Not knowing what kind of breakfast Nelvan liked, Lynda finally made a sandwich, it was a very popular food at breakfast time and hopefully Nelvan would like it. Lynda didn't want to trigger the man's emotions, she was afraid that fireballs would be thrown at her.

As soon as she finished making the sandwiches, Lynda knocked on Nelvan's bedroom door again, then went in to bring the breakfast to the man's room, Lynda placed it on the table along with some warm milk.

Nelvan looked at the food that Lynda had placed on the table next to him, then he looked at Lynda who was still standing, "What are you waiting for, please come out and continue your work, this house needs to be free of dust, don't let me come out later and see you lazing around," he said, and of course Nelvan's words had a very cold tone.

"I'm going." Lynda left immediately with a short walk.

Nelvan made sure Lynda was gone and then got up to put the bill on the table before tasting Lynda's homemade sandwich, Nelvan nodded and felt good about the food. But Nelvan would continue to make the girl feel uncomfortable in his home by making Lynda tired with work to the point where the girl would quit without his orders.

Unknowingly, Nelvan had finished Lynda's sandwich and then continued his work that he was doing from home to control the reins of the company in his absence.

When it was noon, Nelvan wanted to see Lynda's work. The empty wheelchair was occupied by Nelvan before he drove the electric wheelchair out of the room.

Nelvan saw Lynda cleaning up with her back to him, Nelvan's fingers still dusty on the table in front of her.

"Lynda!" called Nelvan.

Lynda jumped in surprise at the loud call and ran over, "Yes Mr. Xander, do you need anything?" asked Lynda.

Nelvan pointed at the table, "Can't you work properly? Don't you have eyes? Look, why is this table so dusty, clean it like you said yesterday," he said, Lynda looked down, Nelvan turned his wheelchair around, then Lynda cleaned the table Nelvan referred to, but accidentally Lynda's elbow moved a not so big flower vase until it fell and broke on the floor.

"Are you incompetent to do your job!" snapped Nelvan.

"Sorry sir, I didn't mean to," Lynda said guiltily.

Nelvan snorted, "Sorry won't make the vase whole again, remember every mistake you make will reduce your pay this month." Nelvan walked away.

Lynda sighed to make herself less depressed by Nelvan's sarcastic voice.

"Patience Lynda, you have to be patient." Lynda muttered to herself and went back to work until Nelvan's voice called her name again.

"Lynda!" Lynda ran to where Nelvan's voice was.

"Yes Mr. Xander."

"Do you see that the flower gardens over there are a mess?"

Lynda looked in that direction, the flower garden still looked good in Lynda's eyes, there were just a few stems that grew longer than the others.

"You want me to mow the grass and take care of the garden?" asked Lynda incredulously, it was not only the inside of the house that she had to clean up, but also the large garden near Nelvan's spacious mansion.

"Will I still be alive after cleaning all this by myself?" Lynda wondered.

Nelvan turned to Lynda, "Do you think I should be cleaning and tidying up? Then why did I ask you to work here? It's useless, do a good job or you'll see what happens," he threatened.

"It is impossible for me to clean this by myself, can I invite another person to accompany me to work in this house? God, I'm not working to take care of a house and yard this big by myself, I'm a human, not a robot." Lynda looked at Nelvan who was moving further away, "Does this man still have a heart, he's so rich, but why just hire me alone?" she grumbled.

Lynda fumed, she was not a picky person when it came to work, but now she was really upset to be told to clean such a big place alone.

"Patience Lynda, patience." Lynda rubbed her chest and tried to calm the rumbling anger she had to endure, slowly she would be able to finish all this work alone so that the evil man would be satisfied to see his house as clean as a glass palace.

Lynda took a large pair of plant shears while carrying a ladder to reach the stems that did not grow neatly with the others, her not so tall stature making it difficult for Lynda to do the job.

"She's a girl and too young to work alone in such a big house and now you tell her to do the garden?" Hans spoke behind Nelvan.

"I'm happy to see her suffer," Nelvan replied in his cold voice and then turned his face away, while Hans felt sorry for Lynda doing men's work.

The girl had to be patient until Nelvan's feelings could soften again, that way Lynda would not be treated cruelly by the man, the work Nelvan gave her was still not much. Hans was afraid that Nelvan would treat Lynda like the previous maids, so they all ran away after a few days in the house.

"If only Bella hadn't betrayed the young master, this wouldn't have happened," Hans thought before he turned to follow Nelvan, because even though Hans wanted to help Lynda, Nelvan would later scold him severely, so Hans could only entrust all the work to Lynda herself.

The girl can definitely survive, let's hope so.
