It was late, Lynda prepared dinner for Nelvan and then told him the food was ready so that Nelvan could come and eat the dinner Lynda had prepared.
Lynda felt so tired that it seemed if she lay down she would go straight to dreamland. Lynda watched as Nelvan ate his dinner and then the man left without saying a word of thanks.
Lynda sighed, she cleaned up the leftovers, it had been a very long day, there was no time to rest except at mealtime, and now it was late, but she still hadn't finished cleaning Nelvan's house to make it cleaner.
It was ten o'clock at night, Lynda could no longer hold back her tiredness, the door to the room was closed and Lynda immediately flopped down on the bed.
"It's so cozy," she said as she rubbed the soft sheets and soft mattress, Lynda's eyes closed to restore the energy that had been drained from her today.
"Lynda!"
A snort escaped Lynda's lips, the girl came out of the room again to meet Nelvan who called her name, wouldn't the man let her rest? It's already past ten at night, why would Nelvan call her again?
"Yes Mr. Xander." Lynda replied.
"Fill this glass with water," Nelvan gave Lynda an empty glass but didn't look at the girl at all, Lynda took the glass from Nelvan and then went to the men's room to get some drinking water, after that Lynda came back and still saw Nelvan sitting at the tab screen.
"Can I take a break, Mr. Xander?" asked Lynda.
Nelvan waved his hand and told Lynda to get out of his room, Lynda sighed then left Nelvan's room and ran to the room to go back to sleep, Lynda would waste no time in getting some rest.
Lynda lay down and picked up her cell phone when a message came in from Mia,
[Are you that busy? Did this young master treat you badly? Did he give you a comfortable place in his house?"]
Lynda smiled and replied to her best friend's message before Lynda took a picture of the room she was staying in and sent it to Lynda so her best friend would not have to worry about what Lynda was doing.
"I'm fine," Lynda replied.
Then came a message from Allexin,
[Tell me if this boss dares to hurt you.]
At least Lynda still has two people encouraging her. Lynda smiles at the attention from her best friend and younger brother. Today feels hard, but Lynda will try to survive, if she doesn't work here, who will give her a job?
"Rest, it's late." Lynda replied to Allexin's message, after that Lynda turned off the cell phone to rest immediately, she didn't know what other work Nelvan would give her tomorrow.
At night, Nelvan left the room after making sure Lynda was asleep, Nelvan went to the gym in the house. Being at home all day pretending to be handicapped was not easy, Nelvan felt sore, so he needed to work out.
A room that only Nelvan could open was entered, a room filled with so many sports equipment, wearing a black singlet and shorts, Nelvan did a treadmill to sweat out his body.
An hour after training, Nelvan returned to his room, but he heard the sound of the door opening, Nelvan immediately hid, Lynda was seen going to the kitchen to drink, cautiously Nelvan went to his room without Lynda knowing.
"I think I saw something?" Lynda rubbed her eyelids then shook her head, after drinking she went back to her room to sleep.
The next morning, Lynda was back to work, the first thing Lynda did was make breakfast before working on the place she had not had time to touch. After breakfast, Nelvan and Hans went somewhere Lynda didn't know.
In their absence, Lynda quickly did everything she could, the house had to be spotless when Nelvan returned. While Lynda was cleaning, someone came in unexpectedly, shouting.
"NELVAN XANDER!"
Lynda was surprised to hear a woman's voice screaming so loudly in such a big house, as Lynda ran towards the sound of the shouting, Nelvan had been out with Hans for an hour and a half and had not returned.
"Miss, are you looking for Mr. Xander? He's not home." Lynda said.
Bella turned and looked at Lynda from head to toe, "Who are you?" said Bella.
"I'm a maid here," Lynda replied, Bella giggled.
"Call Nelvan here! I want to talk to this man." Bella started to go to Nelvan's office, but Lynda quickly got in her way.
"Miss, Mr. Xander is out with Hans, you can come back when Mr. Xander returns," Lynda said, but Bella pushed Lynda so hard that the girl fell roughly to the floor.
"Miss! Don't go into Mr. Xander's room! He's not home!" Lynda pulled Bella out, the study was one of the places Lynda wasn't allowed to go, so there were probably secrets in the room and no one but Nelvan was allowed in there.
"Don't disturb me!" Bella pushed Lynda so hard that the girl almost fell to the floor again, but Hans immediately held Lynda back.
Nelvan, who had returned, looked sharply at Bella, "What are you here for?" Nelvan asked Bella with a cold voice.
Lynda stood next to Hans and whispered, "I forbid it." Lynda said, Hans nodded in understanding and did not argue anymore.
"Continue your work," Hans said, Lynda immediately walked away.
"Hans, I told you that woman can't set foot in my house again, why can she still enter easily," Nelvan said.
Bella approached Nelvan and tried to grab the man's shirt and pull him out of the wheelchair. But Nelvan was not as weak as Bella thought, Nelvan grabbed Bella's hand back.
"Stop making me do anything crueler than what you are about to receive," he threatened as he threw Bella's hand away from him.
Bella clenched her fists, "You made me and Romy get no work, all the companies refused us work because of your orders, you suddenly canceled the wedding and then made me suffer like this, what are you doing!" Bella snapped emotionally.
Nelvan smiled ironically, if it wasn't Bella who made him do this, then Nelvan never got Bella into trouble.
"I think Romy knows why I'm doing this."
Bella was silent.
"You tried to use me first, so just accept the consequences you have to get, Hans."
"Yes, young master."
"Throw this woman out of my sight, I don't want to see the face of a traitor in my house." Nelvan said.
"Nelvan!" Bella screeched to death, and Hans forced her to come out.
Nelvan's wheelchair stopped when he saw Lynda struggling to treat her bleeding elbow, "What Bella did you hurt?" asked Nelvan, Lynda turned her head then grimaced without answering, Nelvan snorted, instead of helping the man he left Lynda still struggling to treat the wound.
"Let me help you." Hans arrived shortly.
"Thank you." Lynda let Hans help her.
"If that woman comes back, you better call security immediately, they are more capable of making her leave than you are of dealing with her yourself." Hans said.
Lynda looked at Hans who had finished treating her, "I didn't know there were guards in this house, how do I call them to come?" Lynda asked.
Hans handed a small black object to Lynda, "Use this, just press the button once if you need help, but press twice if it's urgent," Hans said. Hans said.
Lynda accepted the object and remembering what Hans had said, the man left, leaving Lynda to continue working, a long breath passing Lynda's lips.
"Only two days and I'm already like this." Lynda shook her head, she still has to try to be patient, it seems living in this house really does require extra patience.
*
"Wasn't the servant badly hurt by Bella?" asked Nelvan.
Hans closed the door to Nelvan's room, "It's just a scratch on the elbow, but why do you care if it's serious or not?" Hans asked back.
"She has to do her homework properly, if she gets hurt it's useless to hire someone who's sick." Nelvan replied, Hans nodded.
Nelvan closed the file he was holding after signing it, "Give her a job that is much harder than just working on this house, I want to see that girl give up." Nelvan said.
"Young master, this house is very big, the garden is also very big, while this girl is working alone to serve you while taking care of all the things in this house, do you think there is anything more cruel than that? She is only nineteen years old, a woman, employing a woman in this way is not right, even if she works as a maid," said Hans.
"The previous maids ran away before a week of work in this house, what if we wait for Lynda until a week, whether the girl can still hold out that long or not, if something happens to the girl then you will also be in trouble later." Hans suggested, honestly, Hans also felt sorry for Lynda, who took care of everything in the house all by herself.
"Do you think this kind of work is very hard?"
"Of course, I am a man, but to do what Lynda is doing now, I would quit on the first day." Hans answered without thinking.
Nelvan thought for a while, considering the size of the house and yard, it was quite big, but Nelvan felt it wasn't enough to make Lynda resign without him asking.
"Tell her to drain the pool," Nelvan said, "manually," he continued.
"Sir, the pool has a lot of water, to drain it just by opening the drain door takes a long time, how can you treat an innocent young girl like this, she has no problem with you but you want to torture the girl so much, your venting is not right young sir, you are upset with Bella but your venting is on another girl."
"YOU DARE TO RESIST ME!" snapped Nelvan, Hans immediately fell silent, he just wanted to help Lynda from the torture Nelvan was giving her.
Maybe for Nelvan the work Lynda was doing was easy, but such a big house was impossible for one person to clean in a short time.
"Go outside and say what I said before," ordered Nelvan, who hadn't heard Hans' suggestion at all.
Hans could only exhale in resignation, "When will the young master return to the young master I once knew," he thought.
Lynda did not stop breathing because of the work Nelvan gave her, a job that could be done easily was made difficult by the man. Draining the pool? Seriously, it wasn't a two-foot aquarium pool. If it was an aquarium, maybe Lynda could do it, but what Nelvan was asking her to do was a swimming pool over four meters long. "Is she still sane? It looks like if I manage to empty this pool, I'm going to have man-sized biceps." Lynda looked down at her muscular arms as she lowered her shoulders, "You're going to get strong work, so you should be prepared to get strong muscles." Lynda told her own arms. Lynda didn't know where the pool was, hopefully it was only knee deep, she wouldn't be able to remove that much water with her hands. "You can't give up, do your best and make the man happy," Lynda said, encouraging herself. One by one, Lynda filled the bucket with water and then dumped it. She did this not once or twice, but many times, until her body felt tired, Lynda stopped to take a
Lynda touched her lips, the door was locked from the inside, not letting anyone in, not even the voters of the house. If I'm not mistaken, Lynda felt something on the surface of her lips, was it the artificial breath Nelvan gave her? Both of Lynda's eyeballs bulged, whether it was artificial breath or whatever it was, it was clear that the man had taken her first kiss. And Lynda also did not believe that Nelvan would give an order to undress, even though Nelvan himself had asked for it, but Lynda was still reasonable not to do such actions. In addition to the rudeness of undressing others, she also knew that Nelvan was a normal man, lest the touch Lynda accidentally gave him wake him up and make him aggressive. Lynda immediately shook her head and quickly cleaned her body before changing into dry clothes, lest she get sick or Nelvan cursed her even more. "Lynda! What are you doing! Where's my lunch?" shouted Nelvan. Lynda was surprised, she had just finished getting dressed and
Lynda slowly started to do the same work, Nelvan's house was so big that she couldn't do it all at once. So, little by little, according to her ability, she would clean the house. "Who was that woman who came yesterday?" muttered Lynda. "You don't need to know who she is," Nelvan said curtly. Lynda immediately turned around in surprise at the sound of Nelvan's voice behind her, the man steering his wheelchair with the remote control past Lynda to go near the ornamental fish pond, soothing himself with the sound of running water. "He scared me," Lynda said quietly. "Hans," Lynda greeted as she saw Nelvan's assistant coming, Hans smiled at Lynda, "Do you see young master?" asked Hans, Lynda nodded as she pointed to where Nelvan was. Hans went to meet Nelvan, they talked about work that Lynda didn't know, ignoring what Hans and Nelvan were doing made Lynda shake her head and continue working again. "Lynda, cheer up!" Hans walked past Lynda after his business with Nelvan was over,
Not knowing what else to do, Lynda tried to become immune to Nelvan's yelling and the man's anger. But it was difficult, she didn't like being yelled at, it made her feel so disrespected and as if she was remembering the painful past of being yelled at. Tears fell as Lynda worked, her eyes blurred as they filled with tears, Lynda wanted to quit even though she hadn't worked there long enough. But in a few weeks it was Allexin's tuition payment, if she didn't work, where would she get the money from?Lynda will try to hold out until the end of the month, but if Nelvan continues to be rude, Lynda will have no choice but to quit. Tears are wiped from Lynda's face, she can't be a crybaby, this is for the sake of Allexin and her younger brother must have good ideals, become an established man, don't let Allexin follow in Lynda's footsteps, working here and there just for a few dollars. Lynda immediately cleaned the whole Nelvan house, but in fact she only got a few parts and Lynda was ti
Lynda changed her clothes and immediately met Allexin at the place Mia mentioned, Lynda didn't want anything to happen to Allexin, while continuing to run, Lynda finally saw Allexin sitting with his head down. "Allexin, what are you doing?" Lynda asked. The teenager raised his bruised face all over, Lynda cupped her little brother's face, Allexin was pulled into a hug by Lynda, "Why did you fight, now you are like this and make me very worried. Lynda said. "Don't cry, I did this because they insulted you, they said you worked to serve the needs of an old man for money, they also said you sold your body to be able to support me, seeing you insulted like that in front of me, of course I won't allow it," Allexin replied, not feeling the slightest guilt after beating the children who dared to insult Lynda. "Then what is the condition of the person you beat up now?" asked Lynda, looking at Allexin. The teenager looked away, "Sorry," he said. Lynda turned to look at Mia so that her be
Nelvan saw that Lynda's work was quite neat, and even the girl was working faster than before. Lynda's behavior seemed strange since that afternoon, what was wrong with the girl. Lynda," Nelvan called, the girl turned around and approached him, "is there something you want?" Nelvan asked. Lynda actually played with her fingers and Nelvan began to notice that when Lynda started to get nervous, the girl would definitely play with her hands, Nelvan sighed deeply, "Well okay, I won't get angry but tell me what you want, your attitude has been strange since this afternoon," Nelvan vaporized as if he knew that Lynda was afraid that he was angry. "Mr. Xander, I actually need-" "You need money?" said Nelvan, Lynda immediately dared to look at Nelvan while nodding. "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in asking, but I'll borrow it and you can deduct it from my salary while I'm working here," Lynda said carefully. Nelvan smiled ironically when Lynda looked down again, it seemed that Lynda
Nelvan looked at Lynda, waiting for the girl to do as she said, but Lynda was visibly shaking and clutching her own shirt, was Lynda really still pure? Nelvan didn't believe in such things in this day and age, but seeing the frightened look on Lynda's face, Nelvan couldn't stand it. Nelvan snorted, "Go away!" he said, Lynda looked at Nelvan with watery eyes, "Today I am very tired and want to rest soon so you can go out, but if I ask you to do it next time you must not refuse, now go out before I change my mind again," he continued. Lynda turned away without saying anything, outside the door the tears she had been holding back dripped down her face, Lynda thought Nelvan would not do such a thing, but Lynda was wrong and she could no longer run away from her destiny like this. Immediately Lynda went to her own room, closed the door and locked it from the inside, Lynda's body was limp until it made her fall sitting on the floor, never once did she show her undressed body in front o
Seeing Lynda standing there in shock and disbelief made Nelvan let out a deep sigh, he was already caught so it was impossible to pretend anymore in front of Lynda. Nelvan walked towards Lynda and the girl reflexively backed away, "You, you can walk?" said Lynda still in shock. Another sigh escaped Nelvan's lips, "Since you already know, I don't have to pretend anymore in front of you, but..." Nelvan leaned his face in front of Lynda, who was shorter than him, "but by the time the news gets out, if I can walk, I can't guarantee you'll be able to breathe again," Nelvan threatened, then the man pushed Lynda to get out of his way. Lynda touched the shirt in front of her chest, not expecting that the person she thought was disabled was actually a normal man pretending not to be able to walk, so he had been playing all this time? She had helped Nelvan move to the bed, sit on the chair, but it turned out the man could do it himself, but why was Nelvan pretending to be disabled? Lynda w
Several months later. The seasons had changed, and the white dress with a long train caught the attention of the guests. The veil on Lynda's head completed the beauty and uniqueness of the wedding day she would share with Nelvan today. Lynda's smile never faded as she held a bouquet of flowers with one hand and held Allexin's hand, walking down the aisle towards an altar where Nelvan stood with a pastor. Nelvan wore a black tuxedo, a white shirt, and a bow tie matching the tuxedo. He looked like couldn't wait to reach Lynda. For Nelvan, Lynda looked incredibly beautiful at that moment. With the white wedding dress adorned with diamonds, Lynda's appearance was truly enhanced. Nelvan was touched to see the woman walking towards him, who would soon be his wife. The gaze between the bride and groom didn't waver until Lynda stood in front of Nelvan with Allexin. The teenager placed Lynda's hand in Nelvan's and said, "Now, I entrust Lynda's happiness to you. Never hurt her if you still w
Allexin was also dressed neatly and stylishly, typical of today's teenagers. He had even booked a taxi to their destination.Lynda, feeling confused, just followed wherever Allexin took her. Wherever it was, Lynda was sure it wasn't a dangerous place. Allexin wouldn't put her in danger as long as the teenager could still breathe. The journey was quite long. One hour after getting ready and over thirty minutes on the road."Where are we actually going?" Lynda asked, unable to hold back any longer. But Allexin just replied,"If I tell you now, it won't be a secret anymore." And Lynda just sighed.Suddenly, Allexin gently pulled Lynda. Without asking permission, the teenager put a blindfold on Lynda so she couldn't see anything."Allexin, why can't I see?""Shhh..., just a moment." The taxi stopped, and Allexin led Lynda out of the car and helped her walk to avoid tripping. Warmth was the first thing Lynda felt. It was likely they had entered a room, but Lynda couldn't see anything but da
It was early in the morning when Lynda woke up Allexin for breakfast, but the teenager was nowhere to be found. If it weren't winter, Lynda would know where Allexin went, but now she had no idea where he could have gone so early in the morning.Lynda reached for her phone to contact him, but Allexin's phone rang in the room, indicating it was being charged. Lynda sat and waited for Allexin to return so they could enjoy their meal together. The door opened, and Lynda immediately stood up, thinking it was Allexin, but to her surprise, it was Mia who entered. Lynda quickly ran into her friend's arms."Mia! I missed you so much!" Lynda exclaimed.Mia laughed as she returned Lynda's hug, "I missed you too," Mia replied.Lynda smiled broadly. She initially thought Mia had come alone, but seeing another figure behind Mia piqued Lynda's curiosity. The person was carrying many items, obscuring their face."Who did you bring?" Lynda asked."Let him in first." Mia opened the door to allow the per
Allexin patted Lynda's shoulder, trying to calm her down, but instead of succeeding in soothing Lynda, her brother's gesture only made her cry even more. Lynda didn't care that she looked very embarrassing crying like a child who wanted candy in front of her younger brother. The teenager took several deep breaths. "Is the impact on his head so severe that he doesn't recognize you?" Allexin asked.Lynda turned but then burst into tears again. Allexin massaged his temples. "Stop crying; I know the head injury was quite severe, but I didn't expect it to make him forget you. Perhaps it's just temporary amnesia; you calm down, he will surely remember you again," Allexin said, rubbing Lynda's arm.Lynda's feelings were still very painful. She had been caring for Nelvan day and night to ensure that he regained consciousness. However, when Nelvan opened his eyes and spoke, he didn't recognize Lynda. What was even more painful than that was being considered a stranger when Nelvan had suffered
Unconsciously, seven days had passed, and during that time, Nelvan still refused to open his eyes. The bruises on Nelvan's body had significantly reduced, indicating that Nelvan's condition might soon improve. As Lynda cleaned Nelvan's body with a damp towel, Allexin arrived with a wide smile."Lynda," the teenager called out. Lynda turned, and Allexin proudly displayed his tournament championship certificate. "I won the martial arts tournament yesterday. Don't worry; this is legal, and here's the proof of my achievement," Allexin continued before Lynda could get angry."Really?" Lynda placed the damp towel in the basin, and she took the certificate held by Allexin. Lynda's expression changed as she read Allexin's name written as the winner on it."I'm sorry I couldn't cheer you on during your match yesterday," Lynda said apologetically.Allexin shook his head, "It's not a big deal. In fact, because you didn't come, I was able to win," Allexin joked, chuckling and successfully dodging
A man known to Lynda as Nelvan's cousin arrived. The accident from yesterday had left Nelvan unconscious, and some parts of his body were starting to bruise. His shoulder and head were the same, seeing Nelvan in such a state would undoubtedly evoke pity from anyone who saw him."How is he?" Julius asked."There's still no sign of Nelvan waking up soon," Lynda replied. She then asked, "Have Nelvan's parents been informed about this?"Julius shook his head. "I don't know, but Nelvan is used to this. I mean, if he's sick, neither of his parents really care." Julius placed a flower and its vase on the table.Lynda looked at Nelvan. He had a complete family, but none of them had come to visit when he was sick. The only one who came to visit him was Julius.Shortly after Julius arrived, the door to the hospital room opened again. Hans entered, breathing heavily, looking like he had just finished a marathon."How is Nelvan?" Hans asked immediately. During the incident yesterday, Hans was in
Nelvan's hands clenched tightly as if he could crush anything in his grasp, his face clearly showing restraint to avoid hitting anyone there.Through his eyes, Nelvan saw Lynda in the most dangerous position, feeling incredibly guilty as it was his fault that Lynda was in this situation."What do you want?" Nelvan spoke with a restrained voice, not wanting to engage in small talk when it concerned Lynda's safety.Gilbert took the documents held by the man who had been with him all along. "Sign this; you will get your woman safely after signing this transfer document."Nelvan took the document."Don't scribble over it!" Lynda exclaimed. Nelvan turned; he genuinely wanted to run and take Lynda's place, but he couldn't act directly like that.Nelvan turned back to face Gilbert, who smirked cynically. "Why? Would you prefer the girl to die? What if I activate the bomb attached to her body?""Do you want me to sign this?" Nelvan asked."Of course, what do you think I've wanted all this tim
Nelvan headed to Allexin's location, not to pick up the teenager but to intercept the car carrying Lynda.Nelvan's actions were not on point, and his henchmen also joined in the search for Lynda. After about thirty minutes of searching, Nelvan still hadn't found any signs of Lynda's whereabouts.Nelvan's anxiety clouded his judgment, and all he wanted was to find Lynda safe and sound as soon as possible.Another call from Allexin came in, and Nelvan promptly answered."Have you found Lynda?" Nelvan asked."Not yet, I and the other people are also searching for Lynda, but no luck so far," Allexin replied.Nelvan turned off his phone and focused on finding Lynda. He also waited for one of his men to call and confirm that Lynda was safe. But over an hour had passed, and there was still no sign of Lynda. Both Nelvan and Allexin were equally worried.Elsewhere, Lynda unconscious and bound to a concrete pillar in a standing position, a basin of cold water was poured over Lynda, jolting her
Winter was on the verge of arriving, Nelvan sat in the reading room holding a book, but it wasn't the text in the book he was looking at, but a photo of a beautiful girl smiling sweetly. One thing Nelvan felt at the moment was guilt. Guilt for letting Julia replace him in the accident, and due to Nelvan's carelessness, Julia had found peace in her final resting place.Unexpectedly, after years, someone had imitated Julia's face to deceive Nelvan. No wonder since the incident at the hospital, Bella's presence had been hard to find, and it turned out that the cunning woman had altered her face to resemble the woman Nelvan had once protected.Nelvan's guilt was not only for Julia but also for Lynda. While lost in thought, suddenly Bella, with Julia's face, arrived. Honestly, Nelvan wanted to throw the woman in jail or into the depths of the sea if necessary. Besides her face being made as similar as possible to Julia's, Bella was also very skilled at pretending. If Nelvan made one wrong
