The wedding was just around the corner, all the preparations including the venue were ready, the vows would be said in two hours, but Nelvan saw with his own eyes that his future wife was preparing something that Nelvan didn't expect.
Unintentionally, Nelvan overheard his future wife talking to a man, and the two people said something that really set Nelvan's heart on fire.
"Remember, if you only want to keep this marriage for a short time, take possession of the property and then take care of the divorce papers, then we'll get married and live happily ever after."
Nelvan's hands clenched into fists, it was the voice of Romy - Bella's boyfriend, the man who had introduced Nelvan to Bella, so that the relationship between Nelvan and Bella had reached the wedding day. Nelvan was even happy because today was his wedding day with Bella. But after hearing Romy's words just now, Nelvan became really emotional.
The emotion grew even more when Nelvan saw and heard Bella's answer.
"Take it easy, after all what is expected from a flawed man like Nelvan, if not for his wealth, I would not be willing to marry such a man if not for the future between us."
Nelvan's ears and head are getting hotter, he has been used by his own friend. Nelvan had thought that Romy was a good person as well as Bella, but who would have thought that both people would turn out to be parasites that had to be eradicated immediately.
Nelvan's hands were clenched so tightly that his veins stood out, "Let's see what I'll do," Nelvan mentally ran away from where he was or his ears would explode from hearing the conversation between the two people.
The invited guests had also filled the seats, and it was only a matter of time before the vows were exchanged. However, Nelvan's face did not show any happiness.
Nelvan looked at his hands and then at his position in the wheelchair, why is it so hard to find someone's sincerity without expecting something? Nelvan smiled wryly, in this day and age it is very difficult to find sincerity without expecting something.
"Sir, I will escort you to the venue." The bodyguard said, pushing the wheelchair Nelvan was sitting in.
Now Nelvan was at the altar with a priest, the invited guests who already knew about Nelvan's condition were amazed by Nelvan's good looks, but not a few of them silently sneered at the condition Nelvan was in, while from the end of the red carpet Bella, holding her father's arm, smiled as she walked towards Nelvan.
Fake smile. Nelvan thought to himself.
If Nelvan had not heard what Bella and Romy had been talking about earlier, he would probably have been fooled by Bella's smile, which was as beautiful as her name. Nelvan looked around at the guests until he saw Romy sitting there with an astonished look at Bella.
Really, Nelvan really wanted to strangle a man like that, using his lover for wealth is the lowest thing Nelvan has ever seen. Unconsciously remembering Bella and Romy's conversation, Nelvan's hands clenched into fists again.
Bella's father gave Nelvan Bella's palm while saying something, but Nelvan didn't care what Bella's father said, because what was certain was that Nelvan would not continue his relationship with Bella on a more serious level.
"Are you ready, then I will begin," the priest said to the bride and groom.
"Nelvano Xander, are you ready to take Arabella as your wife, for better or for worse, for joy or for sorrow, and..."
"Stop." said Nelvan, Bella was surprised by Nelvan's words that suddenly stopped the vows, the guests also looked confused, Nelvan let go of Bella's hand that he was holding and then turned his wheelchair towards the guests.
"I, Nelvano Xander, hereby annul the marriage with Bella," Nelvan shouted, which surely made the guests even more confused and surprised.
"Nelvan, are you crazy? Why are you canceling our wedding all of a sudden?" asked Bella.
Nelvan turned to Bella with a sardonic smile, "I think you know the reason why I'm saying this all of a sudden. Nelvan's hand shot up and ordered the guard to take him out of the hall.
For now, Nelvan did not want to do much to embarrass Bella, although he could. The wheelchair was pushed back to the mansion by the guards.
"Nelvan! Are you crazy!" shouted Romy as she came over.
"Crazy? I am crazy and what do you want me to do?" Nelvan turned his wheelchair to face Romy, "You want me to marry Bella? But I don't like her already, so I'll give you a surprise and one more thing, I don't want to see you in my house anymore," Nelvan said with a cold face.
"Guards! Throw Romy out of the mansion and don't let this man set foot in the mansion area for any reason!" said Nelvan and soon several guards came to pull Romy away.
Romy pushed away his hand that was ready to be forcibly dragged, "Wait a minute!" he said, Nelvan smiled.
"Why exactly are you suddenly like this?" asked Romy.
Nelvan shrugged, "I just wanted to, you think I can't do that to Bella? Relax, I'm a person who is known to have no heart, so to prove it, I finally proved it in front of you," he replied.
Romy made a fist as he walked towards Nelvan, but the guards immediately restrained Romy, once again the man brushed off his hand that was about to be forcibly pulled by the guards, "I can walk alone!" he said, then walked out of Nelvan's house without saying anything else.
Nelvan smiled wryly at Romy's departure, "For now it will only be out of my house, but next time you will also be out of many unexpected places," Nelvan muttered threateningly.
Today's events made it more and more difficult for Nelvan to trust anyone, Nelvan was more and more convinced that sincerity never existed in this world, even if there was a very small possibility of finding such a thing.
After making sure that the mansion was free of poisonous people, Nelvan finally stood up from his wheelchair, whereupon the person behind him was immediately surprised.
"You will die if your mouth dares to say anything about what happened in this mansion." Nelvan threatened without turning around, the person behind him nodding quickly.
Nelvan rolled up his shirt sleeves to his elbows then dialed a number, "Get me some maids, make sure they are new and inexperienced, as soon as you get them bring them to the mansion because I want to choose the ones I need myself," after that Nelvan put the cell phone in his pocket and turned his head for a moment to the guard who was in charge of pushing his wheelchair.
"Shut your mouth or you'll never be able to shut it." Nelvan said, sounding threatening to someone who was still surprised to see Nelvan casually walking with both legs.
The next day Bella came to the mansion, at which time Nelvan was sitting on the sofa in the reading room, holding a thick book, glasses perched on his sharp nose, Nelvan's hazel eyes glanced at the door as Bella walked over. "Nelvan, you-" Bella's hand was caught by Nelvan with one hand before she could hit his face, slowly Nelvan's head turned up slightly to look at Bella. "What are you doing here?" Nelvan said calmly, and Bella pulled her hand away. "Why did you cancel our wedding, do you know how embarrassed I was in front of all the invited guests? Why didn't you tell me from the beginning that you didn't want to marry me, that you didn't love me anymore?" Nelvan chuckled softly, he simply did not care how much embarrassment Bella felt, because the one who started this problem was Bella herself. The book Nelvan was holding was closed and placed on the table, the glasses he was wearing were also placed on the table. "Love? Since when did I say love in front of you? Aren't you
A house so large that the courtyard was as vast as a palace garden. Lynda's lips parted in amazement at the sight of the mansion. "They're so rich, but why is the salary only two thousand dollars?" Mia muttered, Lynda turned to look at her best friend, but Lynda did not say anything because she did not know the reason either. There were about eight people who had passed the first stage of the selection, and now it was time to go face to face with the owner of the house who would choose one of the eight maid candidates. "Do you think the young master's face is like a handsome Disney prince? He's very rich, but I wonder if his face is as beautiful as a prince's?" Mia muttered again beside Lynda. "We'll see the young master later, so be patient, we just need to wait a few more minutes," Lynda whispered. Mia nodded, then someone named Hans led them into the mansion. "You can wait here for a moment, I will call the young master to come," Hans said before leaving the maid candidates.
"Where are you going so early in the morning?" asked Allexin, Lynda's fifteen year old brother. Lynda turned around as she finished putting on her shoes, "I'm going to work for your tuition, so study well so that one day you'll have to pay me for what I've done today," she replied. "You don't have to work hard for me, I'll try to find work myself." Allexin held Lynda's hand, "The work out there is very dangerous for girls like you, I don't want anything to happen to you," Allexin continued worriedly. Lynda let go of the teenager's hand as she smiled, then Lynda looked at Allexin, "You don't have to worry, right now I'm going to pay for your schooling and all you have to do is concentrate on your studies, you have to be more successful than your sister, do you understand? Then I'll go to work," Lynda patted Allexin's face and left their small house. "Watch out for the men out there!" Allexin shouted. Lynda smiled at Allexin's call, a car stopped in front of Lynda as she left the h
It was already twenty minutes past eleven, and while Lynda hadn't even finished half of the mansion by herself, she was already feeling quite tired with only a few parts of the house to clean and many more to go. "Lynda!" called Nelvan."Yes Mr. Xander, just a minute!" Lynda put the cloth she had been cleaning on the table and then ran over to where the voice was calling her. After arriving in front of Nelvan, Lynda paused for a few seconds, "Do you need anything?" she asked. "Prepare lunch," Nelvan said. "What do you want me to cook today?" Lynda asked."Anything, as long as I don't starve." Nelvan replied coldly. Lynda nodded quickly and returned to the kitchen to prepare the food, fortunately she had learned to cook quite well since her parents had died. Lynda learned to cook several years ago to give Allexin a life so the teenager would not starve. And now, for the first time, Lynda was cooking for someone other than her younger brother, Lynda wasn't sure if Nelvan would like
Lynda pushed Nelvan's wheelchair to the hospital parking lot, by this time Lynda was very hungry because she had not eaten lunch, especially since she had cleaned Nelvan's big house this morning, so her energy was very depleted. Hans opened the door to help Nelvan in, then Lynda took the wheelchair and put it in the trunk before getting into the car right next to Hans. Occasionally Hans saw Lynda twisting the fingers of her own hands, Lynda's face staring straight down the road without turning around or looking at Nelvan who was sitting in the back, Hans was sure that Lynda must have been scolded by Nelvan. He did not know if Lynda would survive to face Nelvan or not, it was only the first day and Lynda's condition seemed to want to jump into a deep river. Hans looked at the front mirror, Nelvan's reflection seemed to be looking at him too, Hans shook his head slowly, a deep sigh escaped his lips before the car Hans was driving entered the vast area of Nelvan's house. Lynda rushed
The morning before school, Allexin drove Lynda to see Lynda's new boss. On the way, a black car stopped in front of Lynda and Allexin, so Hans returned to pick Lynda up. "Is he your boss?" asked Allexin. Lynda shook her head, "No, he's the assistant boss." Lynda replied. "Miss Lynda, please come in," said Hans, who had helped Lynda put Lynda's not too big suitcase into the trunk. "I'll be fine, don't worry about me and concentrate on your schoolwork." Lynda patted Allexin on the shoulder, then got into the car with Hans, leaving Allexin to watch the black car drive away. A sigh escaped the teenager's lips, "Luckily your boss is a good person this time, so I'm not so worried about you while you're away from home." Allexin mumbled, then left for school, even though he had failed to deliver Lynda to the boss's house. "Who was that man?" asked Hans. Lynda shook her head and refused to answer, Hans nodded his understanding and did not ask about Allexin. Lynda doesn't want many peopl
It was late, Lynda prepared dinner for Nelvan and then told him the food was ready so that Nelvan could come and eat the dinner Lynda had prepared. Lynda felt so tired that it seemed if she lay down she would go straight to dreamland. Lynda watched as Nelvan ate his dinner and then the man left without saying a word of thanks. Lynda sighed, she cleaned up the leftovers, it had been a very long day, there was no time to rest except at mealtime, and now it was late, but she still hadn't finished cleaning Nelvan's house to make it cleaner. It was ten o'clock at night, Lynda could no longer hold back her tiredness, the door to the room was closed and Lynda immediately flopped down on the bed. "It's so cozy," she said as she rubbed the soft sheets and soft mattress, Lynda's eyes closed to restore the energy that had been drained from her today. "Lynda!" A snort escaped Lynda's lips, the girl came out of the room again to meet Nelvan who called her name, wouldn't the man let her rest?
Lynda did not stop breathing because of the work Nelvan gave her, a job that could be done easily was made difficult by the man. Draining the pool? Seriously, it wasn't a two-foot aquarium pool. If it was an aquarium, maybe Lynda could do it, but what Nelvan was asking her to do was a swimming pool over four meters long. "Is she still sane? It looks like if I manage to empty this pool, I'm going to have man-sized biceps." Lynda looked down at her muscular arms as she lowered her shoulders, "You're going to get strong work, so you should be prepared to get strong muscles." Lynda told her own arms. Lynda didn't know where the pool was, hopefully it was only knee deep, she wouldn't be able to remove that much water with her hands. "You can't give up, do your best and make the man happy," Lynda said, encouraging herself. One by one, Lynda filled the bucket with water and then dumped it. She did this not once or twice, but many times, until her body felt tired, Lynda stopped to take a
