Chapter Eleven

"Come with you? What do you mean by ``I should come with you?" Eve demanded and tried to free her hand from the clutches of the men who gripped both her left and right arm but her effort was futile. They were strong men after all.

The oldest of the group fumed and whispered into Eve's left ear. "Quit playing and come with us while you still can walk"

"Are you threatening me?"

"We don't have time to trade words." one of them replied and tightened his grip on her.

Eve looked at him and his colleagues and let out a loud groan. "Leave me alone," she screamed at them, spitting on their faces.

"If she's going to stress us then I don't mind shutting her up." the one who barely spoke amongst them threatened and began tightening his fists.

"That wasn't part of the plan."

"What plan?" Eve asked and looked up to the physically built men. Carlos lowered his head and Eve felt betrayed. Carlos was trembling from his spot.
