"DO YOU HEAR ME?" the stranger asked me, which jolted me out of my own trance and brought me back to the present moment. "I said, what are you doing here?"

He assisted me in standing up and adjusting myself, and I instantly stood up. "What if you ask me for a dispensation first—I mean," When I stated it, I violently hit my mouth with my hand. Sometimes, I find that I find myself completely unable to control the words that flow out of my mouth. Then I shook my head and said, "I am so sorry, Sir. But." My response was a stuttering "No, I'm not what you're thinking, I'm trying to find out where the plates are located.” It is important to emphasize that I am not a thief. “Just so you know, Sir. My mother didn't teach me to take things that don't belong to me–" I stopped speaking at the same time that I realized I did not know this man.

Ms. Amanda didn't tell me that there was anyone else with me besides Boss Convocar and his daughter. I looked at what he was wearing. He was wearing only a white t-shirt and shorts. It seemed he just woke up. He looks clean and smells good too. As far as I know, Boss Convocar is not here. "Wait..." I looked at him as if he was suspicious. “Who are you? What are you doing here? Maybe you are a thief among the two of us, right?!" I swallowed when I saw that the look staring at me darkened.

What a d*mned handsome man he is! What an annoyance! I was unable to take my eyes off of his good looks. I stepped away from him while at the same time I was taking the frying pan that was hanging to use as a weapon in the event that he attacked me. "Don't. Don't. Don't." I gasped fiercely. Why am I getting a mental block?! I frantically shook my head to wake myself up from my trance. "Don't come near me!" Eventually, I came up with the words that I was going to say. I can't get over how attractive he is. What if he is not just a thief? What if he is a serial killer? There was a serial killer that was being reported on the news on television the previous week. Would it be possible to consider the possibility that he is the person involved for the murders? Oh, my Almighty God!

Wow, such a waste! There was a possibility that I would have started a crush on him if he wasn't a robber or someone who was cruel. The handsomeness of him is just what I look for in a man.

 Jeez.

"Do not get any closer to me!" I said when I noticed his movement. I pointed at him while my other hand pointed the frying pan at him like a knife. "I'm going to call the cops!" I continue to make threats.

It was his eerie grin that covered his dark look, and he asked, "Miss? Have you been unable to hear what I asked you earlier?" It's possible that he's just trying to make me confused by asking me this question, but I don't remember any of the questions he asked previously.

"I am not going to be fooled by you. I'm aware that you're trying to divert my attention!" I insisted on it. As the frying pan I was holding was ready to be released into the air, I tightened my grip on it. Then I said, "you see this? When it hits you in the head, you'll see a lot of stars!"

While shaking his head, he laughed at what I had to say and replied, "I asked you earlier, who are you? Regarding the new chef, my secretary has not provided me with any information about this."

When I heard what he just said, I scowled, and all of a sudden, I was completely stunned. What the heck is going on?!

He stepped closer to me and questioned, "What are you doing in my house?" Taking into consideration the fact that I was still confused about the situation. Once more, he questioned me.

"Who am I?" I pointed to myself with my index finger and said, "I am the newly hired—" After I said that, I was so confused that I almost lost my mind. As time went on, each and every word that he spoke to me started taking place, as I had a clearer comprehension of what he was saying. I widened my eyes in horror. His house? This mansion is his home?! Wait?! Don't tell me? Don't tell me that he's–

"B-Boss Convocar? I-Is that you?" I stammered. I asked even though it’s quite obvious what the answer is. I could no longer look directly at him and I stooped down in shame as I covered my face with the frying pan. If I could have dug where I was standing, I would have dug to hide underground because I was so humiliated! Shame on me!

What are you doing, Heidi? It's your first day of work, and you've already disgraced yourself by acting in such a manner! What if you go down on your knees and ask for forgiveness?!

It came to my attention that his foot was moving in the direction of mine, and each time he came closer to me, I retreated. What will he do to me? Will he punish me for accusing him of being a robber and a serial killer?!

When I was backing up, I didn't realize that I was leaning against the wall glass. I looked behind me to see if there was another way to backup, but there wasn't. I couldn't get out because the island bar was blocking my side. I couldn't jump over the island bar to escape. I looked at him with my peripheral vision. He was now darkly staring at me. I don't know if he held a grudge against me or what. Until I realized how close we are now, I didn't fully comprehend the situation.

In a low voice, he asked, "Are you pretending that you are not familiar with me, or do you not remember me at all?" My face had been hidden from the view of the frying pan, and I was ready to take a look at him. When I noticed that his eyes were also peering there, however, I came dangerously close to passing out from shock.

I took a swallow. As I bowed and closed my eyes in a show of humility, I stumbled through an explanation to him. "S-Sorry, Boss. Honestly, I really didn't know it was you. M-Ms. Amanda said that you are in another country," I explained.

"Uhuh? Do you really stand up to your pretense?” I didn't pay attention to what he said because of the smell of his breath. It was fragrant and the smell of his breath was familiar. I was surprised because I had only smelled this scent on one person. Or maybe it's just a coincidence that they use the same toothpaste? I shook my head and bowed with great nervousness.

I was ready to go when he abruptly seized the frying pan I was holding and then put both of his hands on the glass wall behind me, making it impossible for me to escape. I was astonished by what he did. Isn't my apology enough? I was about to leave when he leaned and cornered me. I was about to escape when he did it.

Our bodies were almost touching because he came closer to me. I could still smell his breath because of his parted lips. I can't help but overthink. With our body so close, what if he could smell my breath? My eyes widen when I remember that I didn't brush my teeth earlier because I was in a hurry. So I quickly covered my mouth. He might be turned off by me. But in the event that he kills me, I have no choice, I will use my breath as a weapon.

After taking another step closer to me, he asked, "Why are you covering your mouth?" He whispered to me, and I almost felt a tingling sensation when I felt his hot breath on my ear. He even let his lips touch my ear, which caused me to move without time due to the strange sensation he created. He took a deep breath, and then turned to face me without moving his face away. We were so close that we could kiss, but I was able to cover half of my face with my hand. Why is he trying to make me feel uncomfortable in his presence?

While he was looking into my eyes, he softly bit his lips and asked, "Why are you hiding your lips?" He then looked into my eyes and asked, "When I already taste that? Hmm?" He proceeded with his baritone voice as he continued.

When I finished listening to what he just said. That's when I started to wonder what he said. Who is this man? Have I ever come across this man before? What is he trying to say? Did he get a taste of it? My lips? Does this man have a history with me? In a desperate attempt, I stared at him. As if I could discover the solution by looking into his eyes. As I continued to look at him, I gradually started to feel the fact that we had not just met for the first time after all. What a freaking familiar face he is. It was his breath. The scent of his body seemed to follow me around. A flashback sprang into my thoughts while I was thinking about the person I had met at the club.

I felt lightheaded and almost lost my sense of perception. What really is going on? I was getting my senses back when I suddenly became aware of a hazy vision that flashed before my eyes. Due to the fact that it was so hazy, I was unable to see it. The flashbacks continued until they became clearer and clearer. It was almost as if my eyes opened in shock when I recalled everything that had taken place that evening. How we arrived at the hotel. How we lock our lips with each other. The way our bodies warmed one other on that magical evening. The way he gently stroked my skin. The way he explores every inch of my body, I find myself gasping in pleasure. After taking a deep breath, I quickly started to sweat.

One more time, I stared into his eyes. I took a deep breath and swallowed. The shape of his eyes now tells me what color his eyes actually are. These eyes, which are dark hazel... As well as his signature smell of freshly mint. Those d*mned lips of him, which were responsible for making that one night so wild. The sensation of his thrusting into me brought an overwhelming feeling of ecstasy, and my body hair stood on end as I recalled every single moment of it. Making me thirsty for more.

"Y-You're the guy at the bar who I had one night stand–" In a moment of disbelief, I gazed at him. The man in front of me was Mr. Blue Convocar, who was not only my boss but also the person with whom I had a one-night stand! Exactly what a f*cking catastrophe that is! I have no idea how I will respond to this. It was absolutely difficult for me to determine how I ought to react initially. Whether I will feel frustrated, terrified, or timid. Now is the time for me to get out of this place. That is the reason why I push him with my bare hands. At this moment, I don't care anymore, all I want is to leave this place.

"Hey! How dare you treat our boss in such a manner!" It was Ms. Anj, and she was completely taken aback by the fact that I had forcibly pushed him.

I gasped for breath as I let my calm for a while. I just need to remember that I need this job. Yes, the ground I'm standing on almost ate me up because of shame. But should I prioritize that over the job I got? Because this job is the only thing that will give me hope to get the house that the bank repossessed from us right away! I frantically fixed his clothes that wrinkled when I pushed him earlier. I lowered my head in shame, "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it," I apologized. "S-Sorry, B-Boss, I was just carried away because—" I stopped speaking when I realized that Anj was there. "I didn't know you were at home," I reasoned. "I thought..." The last thing I said was, "You were a thief," and I slowed down my speech.

It was Ms. Anj who interrupted the conversation again and said, "Who are you to think that Boss Convocar is a thief?! You are just a lowly employee!"

Before completing my explanation, I took a deep breath and said, "...Boss Convocar. Next time I will recognize you well. I'm just really confused. I thought you were still on a business trip." I then continued my explanation by saying, "I really really apologize for what happened, Boss."

He did not make any sound. Instead, he approached me and gently touched the top of my head. At that moment, he lifted my head, bringing our eyes together. Following his statement, his lips twisted into a grin that caused me to feel embarrassed. He asked, "Where did Ms. Amanda pick you up? I like this new cook, huh."

"A-Aren't you going to fire that woman, Boss?" Ms. Anj asked. What the heck? It was very easy for me to notice the gleam in her eyes as she asked that question. This woman really  expresses a strong desire for me to disappear from this place.

"Why would I fire her?" That is what he said to Ms. Anj. But he continued to fix his stare on me. "I actually like her. The actions that she took were also reasonable. She is a newcomer. The fact that she would react in such an aggressive way to me is quite normal. Especially thinking about the fact that she knows that his boss is away on a business trip.

Ms. Anj persisted, "You should fire her, Boss," while whispering in a way that could be heard to us.

"I wasn't informed that you have taken over as the new boss in this house of mine. You really want to decide whether or not I should fire someone that was just hired, huh?" He made a threatening comment about her.

She bent her head in humiliation. "I didn't mean it, Boss."

"Then, may I know who's the Boss here?" He asked in a sarcastic way.

"Y-You, Boss," she said shyly.

"So, just keep your mouth shut." Boss Convocar chimed in and said, "Just go away, you'll make my head even more painful." After what seemed like an eternity, he finally walked away from me. After taking a few deep breaths, he once again began speaking. "What's the menu for today?" He finally switched that topic.

“Afri–”

Unexpectedly, Anj cut me off just as I was ready to respond. "Afritada, Boss," Ms. Anj gestured to me as she hurriedly made her way to the spot where I was preparing food. "You're just in the right time, Boss, it's just cooked," she exclaimed with a thrilled tone.

"Get a bowl over there," she commanded, pointing to the cabinets in the corner of it. As soon as I opened it, I discovered many different kinds of white plates were within it. Based on the amount of food I expected to cook, I chose a large bowl. However, Ms. Anj immediately grabbed it away from me after I had taken it. "Serve a plate to the boss, then a spoon and fork. Make coffee for Boss," she commanded, which I immediately did.

I positioned the plate, the spoon, and the fork in the location where Boss Convocar was seated. It was crystal clear to me that he was staring at me with a captivated look in my peripheral vision. I did not pay attention to him. Instead of doing that, I hurriedly made my way to the island bar in order to get to his coffee in the coffee machine.

At the same moment that I put down the coffee, Ms. Anj also put down the afritada that I was made. She even bumped into me. It's a good thing she didn't spill any coffee on me when she hit me.

Boss Convocar remarked, "Oh, I like the smell of the rice," as he placed rice on his plate. "It's great." A gaze was directed in my direction, but Ms. Anj was quick to block it.

"I put pandan leaves on the rice, Boss, to make your food taste and smell better," she claimed.

As soon as I heard what she had said, I frowned. What the heck? Now, she will say that she was the one who did it, even though she had previously accused me of putting poison in the food.

"Really?" The afritada was placed on his plate, as he gave the words. He took a small bite and tried the afritada that I had prepared. As I watched, his eyes widened. While Ms. Anj and I were looking at each other, he paused for a brief minute.

Badly, she motioned to me. I was so anxious that I held my breath and swallowed nervously. It seems as though I have done something horrible again.

"Uhm… Boss? Do you have any thoughts?"

He asked in a serious tone, "Who on earth cooked this?"

"Why, how come, Boss? Doesn't it taste great?"

"Nope, I actually like it," he remarked while his eyes were fixed on me. "It's perfect." A sigh of relief poured over me as soon as he made that statement.

"T-Thank-"

"Thank you very much, Boss!" It was Ms. Anj who interrupted me once more. "Actually, I cooked his afritada," she lied once again.

My brow furrowed even more at that moment. What is she planning to steal from what I have done now? While she did nothing but order me and complain like the owner of this house earlier, she did not do anything else. All I did was go through several steps in order to make some food with that mouth watering cuisine!

When Boss Convocar stopped eating, he turned his attention to her. "Oh?" From the way the Boss looks at her, it looks like he does not believe what she has just claimed.

"Yes, Mr. Boss. She repeated, "I cooked," as she placed her palm on her chest in a way that stated she was pointing to herself with confidence.

Boss Convocar gave a slight nod and then proceeded to take another bite of his meal. "Ms Anj," he called her.

"Boss?"

"Your hair seems a bit wet. It looks as though you just got out of the shower." He took a few gentle breaths. "I smell the shampoo that Beatrice always uses on your hair now," he said with interest.

It is clear to me that Ms. Anj seems confused about herself. She turned her head to look at me and Boss Convocar, who looked like she was feeling at a loss about what to do. "I'm sorry, Boss, because... uhm. Oh, my god, I am such a fool." After a long time, she finally revealed, "I'm... sorry, I took a shower in Beatrice's bathroom in her room. I-I was sweating when I went out to go to the supermarket to buy the ingredients for the recipe she--" Her eyes grew wider. "I mean, I cooked," she corrected a moment after.

"So, you left the house while cooking?" In response, he shook his head. "Do you think you can fool me?" When Boss Convocar said this, he grinned. He gave Ms. Anj a scary look. "I'll gonna ask you again, who cooked this?" He asked once again.

She swallowed as she was so anxious at the same moment as Ms. Anj was bowing her head. I am also able to observe the shaking that comes throughout her body. "I-it was... Heidi, boss." As she trembled, she pointed at me and said, "Ms. Amanda's new hire.  She... She was the one who prepared that dish," she stated "She also cooked the..." She bent her head in humiliation. "... rice." Finally, she admitted.

It was now that Boss Convocar had turned his gaze on me. The spoon and fork that he was holding were put down by him. "Why didn't you speak?" He's now questioning me. "She even took what you did to this house. You should have fought for yourself, didn't you?"

I steadily fixed my gaze on him. Still, I made an effort to meet his gaze, even if I was hesitant to. "S-Sorry, Boss." That is the only thing I could say. I am completely at a loss for words to respond. To think that I would come across a coworker who behaves as if they were the heir to the company is something that I could never have imagined.

"I wasn't asking for you to apologize to me. In fact, there's no need to apologize. I am curious as to why you allowed someone to steal your participation?" He stared at me with an irritable expression.

If it is not necessary for me to apologize, then why does he stare at me? It seems as though I have committed a serious offense towards him. I began to gaze directly into his eyes as I cleared my throat and began to give him my whole attention. "To tell you the truth, I have come across something quite similar to this in my previous job. It's a different scenario, but the accomplishments that are meant for me were taken by someone who didn't help even a penny, while I was the one who worked hard to just get those achievements. I'd fight for it." A bitter smile appeared on my face as I heaved a sigh. "But I was the one who was painted bad to everyone. If you were to ask me, Boss Convocar, why I didn't fight myself. The reason for this is that I'm really sick of fighting for myself.

"So, as the Chief Executive Officer, do you not have faith in me to resolve the issue of my employees in a fair manner?"

"To tell you the truth, Boss, I have no idea how you manage to fix the issue that the employees were facing. But now that I have seen with my own eyes how transparent you are with controlling the actions of the employees who work for you, as your new employee, I would be more than happy to let you deal with all of these problems in a way that is fair.

"That would be a good idea, if you want to continue working as our cook," he pointed out.

The final thing that he said caused me to frown. "Uhm, excuse Boss, but I applied as your daughter's nanny," I corrected him. "I'm sorry for the trouble."

In the same way as my reaction, he grimaced and moved his look to Ms. Anj and then to me. "Then, why are you cooking?"

"It's because--"

"Because Ms Anj ordered me to cook for you," I said, interrupting her. At this point, she still has the nerve to lie. That woman has something.

As Ms. Anj stressed, "B-Boss, what she said is not true," she said.

"You know I hate to review my house video surveillance, Ms Anj, But if you loved to prove yourself, I will call my security and ask for them."

Upon hearing it from Boss Convocar, she scratched her head and sobbed tears. She shrugged and said, "She won't do anything here."

"What exactly do you mean?"

Before she finally spoke, she simply bowed and closed her eyes. "Ms. Nicole took Beatrice at six in the morning," she finally murmured.

"What?!" The words uttered by Ms. Anj caused Boss Convocar to slam the table upon hearing them. "How come I didn't know this?"

It looks like I find myself more and more interested about the responses that Boss Convocar gives to what she says. It is possible that the reason they were looking for a new nanny might be because of her tendency to make decisions in her own freaking way, is that the reason? Having some popcorn and sitting here watching them is a great therapy.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Boss."

"What is the matter with you? I don't see why you would allow someone to take my daughter without informing me!" Anger could be heard in Boss Convocar's voice at this point.

"Ms. Nicole is no longer a stranger to you, Boss, to let you know about her taking on Beatrice. You two are a perfect couple. You are also very close to each other. All that is missing is a label for your relationship."

Oh, that's intriguing. Who exactly is this Nicole?

"For God's sake, Nicole just recommended you as my daughter's nanny. But it seems like you consider her more of a boss than me."

While he was taking his phone out of his pocket, Boss Convocar aggressively shook his head over and over again. to that moment, he extended and then placed his phone to his ear. He's going to call someone. "Nicole, where's my daug–” I saw his eyes furrowed. “Mom?" Oh that was her Mom. Then where is Nicole they’ve talking about?

"Where are they?"

"Mom, she didn't even ask me to take Beatrice. Do you dare to blame me? I am his godd*mn father."

I was able to hear his obnoxious sigh. He appeared to be trying to calm himself down by leaning back on the chair and looking up at the ceiling at the same time. There, we were surrounded by complete silence. "Why did you just come over here and show yourself? I have already terminated you from your job." As Boss Convocar shut his eyes and inhaled deeply, he questioned with a hint of irritation.

She gave a feeble response, "Ms. Amanda called me to guide Beatrice's newly hired nanny," she replied.

"You are not even guiding her in any way. On one hand, you are bullying the new nanny that my daughter has chosen," he claimed.

"However, Boss—"

"Just leave to my f*cking house!" The loud scream of Boss Convocar echoed throughout the entire mansion.

At the same time that I was taken aback by where I was standing, Ms. Anj rushed out of the house crying. What can I expect on my first day at this new job? At this same moment, many different kinds of happenings are taking place.

I did not move from that position and continued to swallow over and over again. What should I do? I am at a loss. Without the child to look after, how am I going to be able for carrying out my job responsibilities? I rubbed my head anxiously. While I was trying to divert my attention by looking at what was going on on the chandelier that was hanging in the living room.

Boss Convocar, stared down at the floor next to me. In the same way that I was confused, I followed his gaze. My eyes widened as I saw where he was staring. I quickly stopped tapping my foot against the marble tiles. I closed my eyes in shame. Even though I made an effort to keep myself cool, my own foot couldn't manage to hide what I was feeling.  reason for me to get Boss Convocar's attention. "S-Sorry, Boss," I mumbled.

"Don't get anxious of me," he said.

On hearing what he had to say, I couldn't help but frown. How was it that he was able to figure out that I was terrified of him? I took a deep breath. "I fully understand your frustration, Boss. You are a father," I said.

"By any chance, Ms Heidi, have you become a parent?" In his eyes, he gazed at me with a serious expression.

I gave a slight shake of my head. "No. "No, not yet," I replied. I have no idea how many minutes had passed, but he continued to look at me while doing so. I'm not sure what it is, but when he looks into my eyes, I get the sense that he is reading what's in my head. Do I look like I'm lying?

He stared back with a clenched jaw and an intimidating expression. "You may leave right now," he said.

Because of what he stated, I felt anxious all of a sudden. Am I going to get fired? Have I said something bad? Has he been offended by me? "U-Uhm, are you firing me?" I asked the question with a hesitation.

After inhaling deeply, he made his way out of his seat and got up. He was facing me. "What do you think?"

My response to his question was a quick shake of the head. Who would want to wish that the first day of work would be the last day of their job? "Absolutely not, no way."

"At this point, you are free to take a moment to rest.  You can resume your first day tomorrow," he eventually finished the statement he made.

As soon as I was made to understand the situation concerning my job, I let out a sigh of relief and nodded my head in understanding. I honestly felt this was my first and final day as a nanny. "All right, Boss. Thank you," I said. In response to that, I reached over to the side of the sofa and grabbed my bag. Since Ms. Anj wasn't taking me to the area in the mansion where the staff will put their belongings, I just now placed my belongings on the sofa for the time being.

"All right, I'll go ahead. Boss," I said my goodbyes.

It was just as I was ready to leave the house when he suddenly spoke once more. "Are you looking for side hustle?" It was a question.

"B-Boss?"

"I am looking for someone to cook. Actually, what you prepared is suitable for my tastes. Also, I'd like to try more of the meals that you prepared yourself."

I have no idea how I will react to this. I had never considered working in the kitchen as a profession. Actually, I prefer making every meal in the comfort of my very own kitchen. Honestly, I responded by saying, "I am not sure if I should accept your offer." "I-In all honesty, cooking is not my field of skills—"

"I am ready to increase your salary by thirty thousand pesos," he announced unexpectedly.

The words that I heard caused my eyes to widen. If I accept his offer, I will be able to save money more quickly. That is why I did not hesitate and made an immediate decision. "But, Boss, are you aware? To be more specific, my degree includes coursework in the field of cooking. After all, who am I to turn down your generous offer?" Overwhelmed, I said. The moment I said, "That's why I accept your offer," I was so filled with joy that I extended my hand to shake hands with him. "Deal?"

I complained, still shutting my eyes.A few seconds passed by, yet Shamcey was still not showing herself. This is always a scenario when she has done anything wrong to me. She will do anything I want, so I can forgive her as I won't speak to her mother, my aunt Rabiya, about her foolishness from last night. As soon as I opened my eyes, the entire room was still quiet. But as

"Are you sure the address you're talking about is correct, Shamcey?" I asked my cousin while we were walking here inside an exclusive village. My jaw almost fell as we passed by the huge and elegant residences. Only the wealthiest individuals and artists can afford to live in a place like this. We're currently looking for a house that I'll apply for, and if I pass the job interview, this will be my workplace. She let out a sigh of annoyance. "Just so you know, you've asked me several times. You see, we've already asked the security guard. This is the exact spot he instructed," she explained to me, irritated. I didn't even try to speak anymore.I've actually asked if the address we're heading to is correct numerous times than I can remember. I am thinking too much that we might have ended up in the wrong residence or maybe I'm nervous as hell? Jeez. Never mind."Hey, Heidi? Let's throw a celebration at the club when you get hired, huh?" she reminded me. “Don't forget to pay for my dri

I was taken by surprise when I saw the price list of all the foods that were available on their menu. It is pretty pricey! It seemed as if I had something to pay for. As a result, I just let my cousin decide what we can eat for lunch."That's nothing, and I got so hungry looking for Boss Convocar's house. In fairness, their house is so spacious that it could comfortably fit ten families because of its hugeness," she said. After what seemed like an eternity, the waiter had finally placed Shamcey's order for us. While the waiter was placing all of the meals that my cousin ordered on our table, I was helpless to figure out each of the foods that was being served. Probably this may be simply because o

First day of Work After stepping out of the car, I calmly stood in front of the mansion while taking a big breath. Quite to the astonishment of Aunt Rabiya and Shamcey, the driver of Boss Convocar came and picked me up directly at our house. Who am I to be picked up, right? I am nothing more than a lowly nanny. In the midst of my preparations for going inside, my attention was drawn to the parking lot where Boss Convocar's vehicles were parked. Now, however, I am struggling to track down the black car that I saw when I came here. A frown formed on my forehead. Is it possible that I was only hallucinating? It is impossible for me to be mistaken, because I was still staring carefully at his vehicles on the day that Shamcey and I showed up here. I'm almost going crazy just thinking about it. "My best wishes are with you on your first day of work, ma'am." The sound of someone talking next to me joined me in the middle of the world of my thoughts. It was Boss Convocar's driver who had pic

It was already 1 AM when Sir Yzack dropped me off. We were in his car, which was parked outside Aunt Rabiya's house. "So you live here," Sir Yzack said, breaking the silence. Did I hear that right? Based on his voice, it seemed like he was hinting at something to me. I looked at him as I her a look of dumbfounded"H-Huh?"I heard him chuckle and shake his head. He paused the music and turned his attention to me. "How are you feeling? Are you sure you didn't feel dizzy after getting your blood collected earlier?" He began to change his topic.I did nothing except observe him as I stared at him. The way he looked at me... it felt like he knew me. "Uh," I said as I touched the spot on my arm where the doctor had taken blood. It did cause some discomfort. I also experienced a feeling of weakness. The fact that I am terrified of injections made my fear even more overwhelming. It was actually this specific reason why I had some worries earlier. "No worries, sir, I'm fine," I replied. "I'll

I have no words to describe the feeling I have. I'm so thrilled that I feel like a child playing as I walk through the wealthy subdivision where Boss Convocar resides. I find it strange. A few hours ago, the sun was really hot and strong, but right now it feels very at peace. It is obvious that Ms. Anj experienced some punishment for her actions earlier. I took some deep breaths as I was enjoying the cooling breeze that seemed to dance the trees and flowers that were on the sidewalk. My hair was blowing by the wind, so I reached for my claw clip to tie it.As I started out with my new job, things did not go well. I was prepared to earn the trust of the child that I was going to be assigned to take care of. Oh, what a waste! It seems as though fate is playing something with me today. The fact that many things unfolded before even half of my shift is mind-blowing. First, I met a coworker who was even more bossy than my own supervisor. Second, I encountered another coworker who stole all

"DO YOU HEAR ME?" the stranger asked me, which jolted me out of my own trance and brought me back to the present moment. "I said, what are you doing here?"He assisted me in standing up and adjusting myself, and I instantly stood up. He was wearing only

I woke as I kept my eyes closed while holding my head. I feel like this pain is about to split my brain in two. What the hell??! Is this because of the whiskey I drank last night?
