Sofia's POV

When I recovered myself, I suddenly smelled something.

“What is that?” I kept on smelling it, and he also noticed something, and there we concluded that the food he'd been cooking was burnt. We both laughed as he rushed to close the fire.

“Damn! I forgot,” he embarrassedly said and looked at me. His expression made me laugh even more.

“Seemed like we're eating burned food right now,” I joked to him, which made him chuckle. Actually, this was the first time I saw him up close while he was laughing, and it was not fake. It's a real laugh.

I also noticed that it changed the way I see him right now. He's not really that cold and serious person; there's also a side of him that is more than I'm thinking of.

“I'd rather cook again than let you eat that burnt food,” he said and went to check another stock in the refrigerator.

“You don't have to cook another; I'll just eat what you have cooked. Besides, the food on the table is enough to eat,” I told him.
