Chapter 101: I Was Falling

Sofia's POV

I'm lying in bed while he hugs me. I'm not comfortable with our position right now, but I want us to be like this.

Marcus is indeed still in love with Sofia.

"Goodnight, Sofia," he said, tightening his hugs. I gulp because of how close we are.

"Goodnight, Marcus," I’m ready to close my eyes when his last words make my world stop.

"I love you, baby." I don't know, but his words hit me differently. I didn't realize that I was actually crying.

What's wrong with me? I wipe my tears while not letting him know that I am crying.
