Wyatt Hayden.
A 26th year old billionaire. Owns Wyatt company. Net worth 23.2Billion. Relationship status- single.

I groaned, taking my eyes off my phone. Why the hell am I going through Hayden’s biography.
“You need to know about your husband, duh!” My subconscious said.
“Eww! He isn’t my husband..he is...” I stopped when I realized I’m talking to myself.
I locked my self in the room after the conversation with my mom. I hope she isn’t planning anything funny because I can’t afford to lose Ezra.
Hayden is 26, I’m 18. The thought of getting married to him irritates me. Didn’t my parent think about this before accepting his selfish offer? Of course they didn’t. They are blinded by his money.
Speaking of Hayden, I haven’t seen him before. Just on the net and news. He’s handsome but...
“He isn’t handsome..stop thinking about him, Brit!” I warned myself.
My phone rang and On checking the caller’s ID, I found out it’s Ezra. My heart skipped a bit and i cleared my throat before picking his call.
“Hello” I said trying to sound cool.
“Hi Brit, How are you doing?”
“I’m marr..I mean, I’m fine” I chuckled nervously. What’s wrong with me??!
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yeah..yeah sure. Why did you call?” I asked hurriedly.
“To check up on you. Are you okay, Brit? You don’t sound okay”
“Of course I’m fine. I’m just busy..we will talk later. I need to get back at...work!”
“Oh...okay” he hesitated before saying it. “We will see at school tomorrow then”
“School? Oh yeah!, School...bye!” I ended the call immediately.
I slapped myself continuously. Why the hell am i acting so uneasy. If I’m like this on call., How will I be able to face him!?
{The next morning}
I woke up super early. I wasn’t able to sleep. How would I when the disturbing thoughts about me getting married kept popping up?!
I got up from my bed and went into the bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror and frowned. My ebony black hair is scattered and I look like a walking dead.
I removed my gaze from the mirror and brushed my teeth. When I was done, I had my bath, dressed up, carried my backpack and exit my room. I didn’t eat dinner last night and I’m fucking hungry right now.
My dad is in the dining room already with my mom having breakfast. I had the urge to join them but I won’t. Instead, I made to exit the house but my dad’s voice stopped me.
“I believe you saw us seated here”
“Yeah?” I gave him a questioning look.
“Join us for breakfast” He said.
“I’m not hungry” I lied. My stomach grumbled but I ignored it.
“You obviously are!” He uttered.
“I’m late for school”
“It’s still early.” He stated the obvious.
“I have to do somethings” I maintained my ground.
“Nick will take you to school” He said. Nick is one of his bodyguards.
“What! No! I have a car”
“The car I got for you” he corrected. “He will drive you”
“I can drive myself” I said. I definitely do not need someone monitoring me around. Especially that sneaky Nick.
“Okay, you are staying at home if you won’t allow nick drive you”
“Dad!”
“Daughter!”
“This is not fair!” I groaned.
“Life is not fair” he said.
“Argh! Fine! Nick...come drive the fucking car” I said angrily and marched out of the house.
Throughout the drive, I kept an angry and straight face. I’m hungry and angry at the same time.
Nick got to the school premises in few minutes and i came out of the car.
Nick did the same and I glared at him. “You aren’t following me to my class, are you?”
He nodded negatively. “Thank goodness!” I hissed and walked away.
I entered my home room class and was glad to find Tiana, my best friend in the class already. I went to her backpack and opened it.
“Okay, what are you looki..”
I interrupted her. “I’m fucking starving. I need to eat something”
“And why would there be food in my backpack?” I heard her utter and I left the backpack realizing it’s true.
“Ezra to the rescue!” I heard his voice and my heart skips. I’m really scared to look up at him.
“I have some cookies. You can have it.” He said but I still didn’t look up.
I felt his tap on my shoulder and I flinched.
“What’s wrong?” He asked worriedly.
“Nothing...Thanks!” I said collecting the cookies from him.
He must have seen me walk in and go through Tiana’s backpack for food. That’s so embarrassing.
I started eating the cookies and said a silent prayer to Ezra. I could have died! That’s just me being sarcastic tho.
I was almost done with it when the homeroom teacher entered and Ezra went back to his seat.
She started calling out names for attendance while I zoned out.

“Brit!, is something wrong?” He asked me. We were at the staircase. Ezra and I.
“Something is wrong but I don’t know how to tell you”
“Tell me about it. Please” he pleaded.
“I don’t know how you will take it”
“Just say it, okay?”
“Okay fine, I’m getting married” I finally said.
There was a long silence and I got scared I made a mistake telling him.
“Ezra?” I called.
“You’re what?” He asked, flabbergasted.
“Getting married. It’s my dad, he said...”
“What do you want to explain again? You are Happy about it right?”
“What? No! Why would I?”
“Who are you getting married to?” He asked.
“Hayden. Wyatt Hayden” I answered.
“Wow!, just wow! You guys would look cute together.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” I scrunched my brows.
“That’s why you refused my proposal. Isn’t that it? So you can marry your Prince Charming”
“Eww! Hayden isn’t my Prince Charming!”
“You don’t have to pretend. I know and it’s fine. It was my fault falling for you!” He spat.

“Brittany! Brittany Jones!” I heard the homeroom teacher called and I flinched almost falling off my seat.
I looked around and I was still in the homeroom class. It was all an imaginations. Telling Ezra about me getting married and him taking it the wrong way.
“What were you thinking. Been calling you for a while now” the homeroom teacher said.
“I’m sorry” I apologized and she just nodded.
I looked at Ezra’s direction and he happened to be looking at me worriedly.
I forced a smile at him and looked away. What if my imagination come to pass if I tell him?
I don’t want to lose him and I can’t afford to. I rather not tell him. Yes, I won’t.
