ISABELLA’S POV

“I was actually joking. She’s my sister, who just came to visit us. She was bored at home and decided to tag along with me,” Carlos said whilst letting out laughter we all could tell was fake.

But by the way, he kept scratching the back of his head, and Adrian briefly chuckled; I could tell Carlos was lying.

I won't lie, it saddened me to find out that Adrian hooked up with different kinds of girls, and the fact that Carlos was encouraging him enraged me more.

But sadly, I couldn't show how I really felt about the whole discovery. I had to act like I wasn’t bothered at all.

“You don't need to lie, Carlos; you're very bad at it. You brought a girl for Adrian to hook up with, and so what? It’s none of my business,” I rolled my eyes and said to Carlos.
