Chapter 39: The Power He Holds

I occupied the seat Rue had outside. However, Ajax told me I should be working inside with him so he could see me everytime. I told him a million times I should be out instead of coming inside his office and work when my job right now was to be his secretary and occupy the space outside.

He used his power to command me and even though I didn't like it, Ajax moved some of my things back to the table where I was.

We're both in the middle of doing our job when the door creaks and a lovely woman who was wearing an elegant dress comes in.

"Ajax," she spat things out of her mouth sweetly.

Ajax put down the paper he was holding while I stood up and greeted her yet the lady didn't even lay her eyes on me.

"Samantha, what are you doing here?" Ajax inquired.

I put my attention on my laptop and began typing again not until the woman walked toward Ajax and then sat on top of his table whilst crossing her arms which made me astounded and sighed in disbelievem
