Chapter 41: Argue

In spite of the fact that I believed I had consumed an amount of alcohol that was above and beyond my standards, I was unable to put myself to sleep. The constant stream of questions that kept going through my head drove me crazy and eventually drove me to insanity.

I let out a few sighs and a few deep breaths. My discussion with my friend Janice earlier tonight has been weighing on my mind throughout the entirety of the night. While she was blissfully sleeping next to me, I was taking advantage of the opportunity to sit on her enormous mattress.

The words that came out of her mouth etched themselves into my head like a tattoo. Her enticing inquiries made my eyes squint. Despite the fact that it is almost ghost time, my eyes are still round since many ephemeral thoughts have passed through my mind.
