Chapter 88: You still come here

"Alright, let's get you ready for school," Kiandra agreed and she got off the bed. She firstly helped Zendaya to take her bath after which she dressed her up.

It was in the middle of her braiding Zendaya's hair that there was a knock on the door. "Go see who it is," Kiandra told her daughter who immediately rushed over to the door.

When Zendaya opened the door, she came face to face with Lucas who was already dressed to go out. "I came to wake you up for school," he told Zendaya and his eyes then fell on Kiandra.

She gave him a slight smile before going back to her daughter’s hair. When she was done, Zendaya jumped down from the seat and she grabbed her bag.

“Will you be dropping her?” Kiandra asked and Lucas nodded. This was a good time for him to try and bond with his daughter.

“Good luck honey,” Kiandra wished Zendaya and the latter turned to look at her mother with a frown as though she didn't like what her mother said.
