Chapter 87: Back with her daughter

“Kiandra,” Lucas called but she had already closed her eyes to go back to sleep. That was it! He was done being nice to her. He wanted his Kiandra back and acting nice wasn’t going to help.

Not bothering to say anything else, he walked over to the bed and carried her up. This made Kiandra open her eyes and stare at him in shock. “What are you doing? Put me down!” she said and for a second, Lucas saw the anger he was used to in her eyes.

“No,” Lucas answered and he started walking towards the door. “If you try to struggle, I’ll drop you,” he threatened.

“Fine, do whatever you want,” Kiandra replied in that annoyingly calm voice. He walked out of the room and down to his car. Spider, who had been waiting, immediately got out of his car and opened the car door for Lucas.

Lucas placed Kiandra on the front passenger seat after which he helped her with her seatbelt. After making sure she was secured, he closed the door and headed for the driver’s seat.
