Chapter 017 Simple Gesture

"Let me do that." I quickly took the broom from Gabrielle. Even cleaning the room I sleep in, he does it. I know he knows I grew up in a wealthy family, but I’m not lazy; I also know how to do simple household chores.

"Don’t. Get ready because Kate will take you to Grandma. She wants to meet you." He shooed me away.

I just pouted and followed. I had no choice but to obey him because I’m staying under his roof and he’s the one feeding me. Well, I have my savings, but for now, he doesn’t want me to use them.
