Chapter 020 Confession

**Eumerriah's Point of View**

“You didn’t mention you were getting married.”

“So this is where you’ve been hiding. Why didn’t you tell us?”

“When is the opening of your resort?”

These were the questions from Gabrielle’s friends. There were three of them: Jason, Paul, and Kristine. They all seemed nice and really close to each other. They found me in the living room, but I quickly went inside as soon as they started catching up. I could see the confusion on their faces, but Gabrielle only smiled in response. What’s with that smile? It’s frustrating; she didn’t even think to introduce me.

“Her rest house isn’t even finished yet. It looks like she won’t open it until her girls are here. She’s being stingy, not introducing us.” Paul teased. I met the two guys earlier; they introduced themselves. The girl, however, Paul only mentioned her name. She seemed to dislike me since she didn’t even look at me. I felt like she was glaring at me.

“It’s not like that. Yumi might be overwhelmed
