I raced towards the door to see Carina having it with Jacob. She was the one doing all the talking but he just kept mute listening to her.

“Aren't you going to say anything?” She and he didn't respond.

“What are you doing, Carina?” I asked her, she looked at me and sighed.

“I just wanted to know why he didn't visit when you were in the hospital,” she said and I sighed.

“He did,” I said to her and she gave me a puzzled look.

“What do you mean? Is this another one of your hallucinations?” She asked and I grew uncomfortable especially with the eyes that surrounded me.

“It wasn't a hallucination,” I said to her, “when I first woke up, he was hovering over me. My guess was is I woke up screaming,” I said to her and she walked towards me and hugged me.

“I'm sorry for causing a scene,” she said with her puppy face and handed me the bag of clothes.

“I brought all your essentials so you won't have to ask for anything,” she said and I nodded.

“Thank you,” I hugged her and walked back in
