I allowed the breeze to flow through me as Jacob drove us to my estate. I couldn't help but think about last night. The way he made me feel and worshiped my body as well.

“What?” I said, laughing after I caught him looking at me.

“You are just so beautiful,” he took my hand and kissed it.

“Your eyes better be on the road, handsome,” I complimented him back.

We drove into the estate and I waved to the security guard. Carina is going to kill me for not texting her.

We entered the house and it was a bit crowded, “what's going on?” I asked, looking at the sour face of everyone.

“It's Steven,” Madeline said but Carina stopped her.

“Why are you doing that? What happened to Steven?” I asked her.

“You have to promise me not to lose it or do something rash,” she said, standing in front of me.

“Out with it, Carina,” I snapped, getting impatient.

“Steven is gone,” she said and I raised an eyebrow. I could feel Jacob's hands on my shoulder but I took it off.
