I walked into Martin's private security company and headed straight for his office with Michael and Liam closely behind me.

I had Ryan be the head of Amy's protection details along with other guys in my security team.

Martin and Clay stood up from their seats the minute they saw me.

“Who let you in here?” Martin asked.

“I let myself in. We are going to have to work together if we are to bring Aurora home,” I said and he scoffed.

“She was home at least with us, until you allowed her to work out of the hospital alone,” he said firmly.

“She said she needed to do this alone. I couldn't stop her. Even if I wanted to,” I sighed.

An adjacent door in his office opened and Carina walked out of it.

“You didn't want to because you are scared that she will flare up and you will lose her,” Carina said to me.

“That's not true, Carina. Aurora and I forgave each other. I didn't need to be scared of losing her. I just needed to trust her.”

“Well, you trusted her too much,” Madeline cried out.
