I smiled in return and was about to collect it when I noticed Eleanor Roosevelt's hand was loosely wrapped around the teacup handle and she was about to hand it over to me.

The cup was tilted and I knew what was about to go down. I looked up at Eleanor Roosevelt's eyes and I received the cup from her. Immediately, my hand knocked the cup over under the pretense of me about to accept the cup and immediately, a shrill followed by a crash overwhelmed the room.

I looked down at the broken teacup and then up at Eleanor Roosevelt's red hand. Immediately, a gasp flew out of my mouth and I stood up in a hurry.

"Eleanor!" Mother's voice yelled throughout the dining room. Her eyes were wide open and her mouth was agape. Her face was contorted into that of surprise and worrisome. I snickered lightly at her acting.

"Are you okay?" I asked looking at her tea-soaked hand. She looked up at me with glossy eyes and I looked at her worriedly.
