Chapter 66: The shameless Christian

Christian sat in the dining room watching the maids place the meal on the table.

" Have you called Ari?", he asked turning to the chief maid,

" No, My Lord, I don't think ma'am would want to eat here tonight",

" Why?".

Clinton frowned not sure of why the known answer was still been demanded, " she doesn't eat with you sir, she has been eating in her room so...",

" Tonight will be different, tell her to come and join me",

" I.. don't think she'll accept. Moreover, you both just got back, so she might want to rest up".
