Chapter 12 - The Midnight Wedding

"What else? Elisha, I really can't understand what the hell you are thinking. Now, what do you want?"

"That's—" Elisha looked hesitant to speak. "I need your trust, Alex."

"What?"

"If you can't trust me, it would be difficult for me. I'd rather—"

Elisha didn't continue, and Alex didn't respond either. Both were silent, but Cassian could feel the tension between them.

"Oke, fine," Alex replied.
