Happy New Year

The fridge was well-stocked, with Gloria adding fresh vegetables and meat daily. Aurora chopped up some celery, passing the meat to Heath to mince.

The two clattered around the kitchen. Aurora wasn't skilled in cooking, but Heath was quite adept, so it wasn't too chaotic.

After mixing the meat filling, Aurora looked at the dough and worried. She really didn't know how to roll out pasta dough!

Heath, resigned, took the utensil and made a few sheets of pasta for her. Aurora finally managed to shape the pasta, her attempts lopsided and set aside.

Thus, the neat ones were Heath's creations, while the quirky, uneven ones were Aurora's.

After finishing the pasta, Heath cooked two more dishes, while Aurora bravely prepared a salad. Under Heath's guidance, it turned out quite presentable.

Boiling the pasta, Aurora's apron and face were now dusted with flour. She looked miserably at Heath, shrugging, "I'm sorry, I really can't cook."
