“What do you think I should do?” Kim asked a couple of minutes after Ava made her way into her bedroom.

She had thought that they had finally made a breakthrough in trying to bring her out of her shell but right now, it seemed like Ava didn’t have any will to live or to fight for anything or anyone in particular, even her unborn child.

“I think we should give her the space she wants and let her come around when she’s ready,” Renee suggested but Kim wasn’t buying that. She knew her sister better than any of them ever would and if they didn’t do something, Ava would sink even further and they would lose her for good.
