It had taken him a long time but Sebastian could finally see it what he’d been missing for a long time now. It’s was just like Kim had said, it was right there in front of him but he had refused to acknowledge his feelings simply because he was scared of admitting to his feelings because he didn’t want to let his guards down and become weak.

He saw how being open and trusting had let his father to an early grave and he wanted nothing like that.

But it was going to cost him if he couldn’t bring himself to make a decision about Ava.

If anything Kim had said was true then he had to act fast. He would lose her again. To be honest with himself, Sebastian knew he was running out of chances and he didn’t know how many more Ava would be willing to give him.

He glanced at his watch once more, his meeting would have to wait or continue without him. Damian was more than capable of smoothening out the edges and he wouldn’t be needed for anything other than fulfilling formalities.
