“We’re witnessing bush babies acting like sisters, what a chaotic scene!” I chuckled and leaned in closer to Lana, whispering some wild stuff. Lana quickly nudged her head away, "Seriously, keep it down! She can hear you!”

“I am not concealing anything; she has disrupted our moments. Rushing in and speaking nonsense does not demonstrate maturity or accountability.”

“Some individuals need to possess a modicum of common sense.”I fell silent, observing the woman who was gently tending to Bryan's hair.

"Miss, we are departing; we have matters to attend to," I stated, my thoughts drifting back to my father. I had not been overly concerned earlier, as I knew Alex would not harm my father; his focus was on me.
