Senator Logan blamed himself for organizing the business meeting in his home. He thought about rebuilding a new welcoming area to receive his guests, one that would divert their eyes away from his wife and daughter. Not only had he noticed the men lusting after his daughter, but they also seemed to be admiring his beautiful wife.

Nancy picked up her teacup and took a sip. After finishing breakfast with her parents, she said, "Dad, Mom, I want to go out and shop for some things that I need now that I've returned home. Some of the items in my room have run out."

"Okay, Nancy. Will you be using your car, or do you want Matthew to accompany you to the shopping mall? You know that the wedding is tomorrow, and with some guests already having their eyes on you, I cannot take the risk of having them kidnap you before the wedding," her father replied.
