Chapter Forty-Two: The Board meeting

Jesse's POV

I stood there still in shock, my mind replaying the moment Kevon caught Tamara and me together. If this goes out to the school authority it would be a huge problem for Tamara. I had to handle this to keep Kevon from saying a word. I wonder where Tamara had gone. I couldn't stop her.

I wonder how she might be feeling now. Everything all felt like a bad dream. But there was no time to dwell on it. I had to go and lecture my students, and even though my mind was clouded with what might happen next after we have been caught by . My mind was a mess, but I had to push through.
