Tamara's POV

I stood there, frozen in place as I watched Kevon's image disappear in the distance. My heart was beating so hard in my chest, my whole mind was running weird.

How on earth did I end up having sex with Jesse in his office? What just happened? How had everything spiraled out of control so quickly? The embarrassment, the shock, it all clung to me like a second skin. I really don't want my parents finding out about this. It was only going to break them. I signed in frustration, running my hands through my hair. I knew I had to pull myself together, but it felt like the floor had been yanked out from under me.

Just as I gathered the strength to move, I heard footsteps approaching. I looked up to see Isabella coming toward me, with her usual bright smile, though we had had a disagreement but I love the fact we were cool again.

“Tamara! There you are,” she called out, her voice cutting through the fog of my thoughts.

I tried to force a smile, but it felt weak and so

Tamara's POVI woke up with my head throbbing as I slowly came back to reality, the sharp pain pulling me from the hazy edges of consciousness. My eyelids fluttered open, and I blinked several times, trying to make sense of my surroundings. But all I could see was darkness. Panic began to well up inside me as I realized I couldn’t move. My hands and legs were tied, the rough rope digging into my skin. Where was I? How had I ended up here? The last thing I remembered was Christina walking into Isabella house with Some huge men following behind her a white handkerchief passed over my nose. I tried struggling but that was all I could remember. What was she doing there? And then nothing. My memory was blank after that, just a void of darkness and confusion.I struggled against my restraints, but it was no use. The ropes were too tight, biting into my wrists and ankles with every movement. I tried to listen, to hear anything that might give me a clue about where I was, but the only sound w

A heavy feeling settled in my chest, gnawing at me with each passing minute. I tossed the phone onto the passenger seat, frustration mounting as my thoughts spiraled. This wasn’t like her. “This doesn’t make any sense,” I muttered, running a hand through my hair in frustration. Tamara wasn’t the type to ignore my calls, especially not after the way we left things. Something was wrong. What if she is dying somewhere you have got to be kidding? Do you have any idea who I am? They will all go searching this minute and am not joking” I started with a dead serious tone. “Ok Jesse, I get you but I really want us to take things slowly” Trevor said again. “Can you stop getting me pissed off, it's my girlfriend we are talking about here. her phone is switched off, she isn't anywhere not at her house or her parents place, so what the fuck are you trying to take slowly. Tamara's POVIt was morning, and all through the night the men had tortured me I can only wonder how I managed to be alive till this moment. My body felt like it had been shattered into a million pieces, each one burning with relentless pain. I was struggling to breathe, the men won't stop hitting me with brutal blows and kicks that made me fall on the cold floor. I was sweating all over, with tears streaming down freely on my face, my whole body was full of sores and blood. My throat was dried up and I was everything, including hungry. The world around me blurred, like I was slipping into some dark, endless pit, where pain was my only option.I could barely think straight. My thoughts were entangled, wrapped in a thick despair I couldn't see a way out. What was I even praying for? A miracle? Or maybe death? Anything to stop the unbearable pain that was tearing through my body. I don't even know if thieves were tortured the way I was tortured that night. I wish there was a way out

Jesse’s POVThe atmosphere in the car was thick with tension, the two suspects I had in mind can't be arrested. My Dad is against Me . I clenched the steering wheel, my knuckles white from the pressure. Trevor's gaze was fixed ahead, but I could feel his eyes turning towards me every now and then, as if checking my mood.“I think we should go to Kevon’s place,” Trevor finally said, breaking the silence. His voice was cautious, like he was stepping on glass. “not to arrest him or treat him as a suspect just maybe he might know where Tamara is.”The mention of Kevon’s name was like a slap to the face, he is my major suspect because Tamara had run after him this afternoon after he caught us but now I can't even have him arrested because Trevor said we needed to take things slowly. My jaw tightened, and I could feel the anger bubbling up inside me, I let out a slow, controlled breath, trying to keep my temper in check “Fine,” I muttered, barely containing the irritation in my voice. “Let

Jesse's POV:Trevor tried to calm me down, but it was almost useless. I was wound so tight I felt like I was about to lose my mind. “Just go home, Jesse. There’s nothing more we can do tonight,” he said, his voice steady, trying to get through to me.But how the hell was I supposed to just go home? Tamara was out there, missing, and I had no idea where she was or what could be happening to her. Dad had refused me from taking Olivia who was my prime suspect. Kevon , her bestfriend isn't saying anything. The thought alone made my stomach twist into knots. But Trevor wasn’t wrong, there wasn’t much else I could do at that moment. So, against every instinct screaming at me to keep looking, I finally agreed and headed home. The night was a complete blank night. I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to shut off my mind. Every time I closed my eyes, all I could see was Tamara’s face. Was she scared? Was she hurt? The possibilities tormented me, driving me insane. Why didn’t I protec

Jesse’s POVAs soon as the door clicked shut behind her, Trevor walked back in. “Were you able to plant the chip?” he asked, his voice low.“Yes, on her phone,” I replied, my voice flat. The anger and frustration still obvious beneath my voice, but at least now we had a lead. It was small, but it was something. And right now, I'd do anything that could help bring Tamara back“I think our next target to plant the chips on is Olivia and Kevon since they are our main suspects.” Trevor suggested and I immediately felt my stomach tighten. But I am going to do it. Tamara must be found and If we wanted to make sure every angle was covered, we had to be thorough. “We need to act fast,” Trevor said, his voice cutting through the tension in the room. “The longer we wait, the more time we give them to cover their tracks.”I nodded, barely hearing him. Jesse’s POV By the time I got to the hospital, she was taken to the ward for treatment, while I stayed at the waiting hall with Trevor. Every now and then I was standing up to see if there was anything new. When I was told Tamara was now stable, I walked in as I stared at her body lying weakly on the bed. I was so relieved but it didn’t last long.I was more worried because she still hadn't woken up. I became so uncomfortable leaving her in the hospital what if something else happened I couldn't let that happen. The thought of leaving Tamara here, where anyone could come and go, made my skin crawl.“I want her treated at my house,” I said, in a firm tone as I looked at the doctor in charge. The doctor blinked, taken aback by my words. “Mr. Jesse, I understand your concerns, but she’s in good hands here. We need to keep her under observation for at least some days”“I’m not leaving her here,” I interrupted, in a determined tone. “You can send. whatever equipment and personnel you ne

Tamara's POV The day had finally arrived. After years of challenges, long distance, and dreams, here we were standing on the edge of forever. My wedding day. I stood in front of the large mirror, smoothing my hands over the delicate lace of my wedding dress. The soft ivory fabric clung to my curves. My heart pounded in my chest as I gazed at myself, barely able to recognize the woman staring back. I looked radiant, more beautiful than I had ever felt before. My veil sat perfectly on my head, and my makeup had been done flawlessly. But it wasn’t just the dress or the makeup, it was the overwhelming joy of the day. I was marrying Jesse. The love of my life. “Tamara, you look stunning,” my mother said as she stepped into the room, her eyes glistening with tears. She hugged me gently, careful not to wrinkle the dress. “I can’t believe this is happening,” I whispered, my hands shaking slightly. “It feels like a dream.” “It’s not a dream, sweetheart,” my mother said softly. “Yo

Tamara's POVI blinked my eyes open, a little beam of sunlight sneaking through the curtains. Tamara's POVI woke up early the next morning, the brightness of the rising sun creeping through the curtains and illuminating the room. I turned over to see Jesse still sleeping, his face peaceful but still carrying traces of the pain he was feeling deep down. Last night had been hard, perhaps the hardest moment I had ever witnessed with him. He had cried himself to sleep in my arms, a vulnerability I never thought I’d see from him. My heart ached for him, but I knew he needed rest, and I needed to do something to help.Carefully slipping out of bed, I tucked the covers back around him and left the room as quietly as I could. The house was still so quiet, and as I made my way downstairs, I realized that I hadn’t seen any of the staff around since I’d arrived. The absence of activity made the house feel so much larger, so much lonelier. But as I walked into the kitchen, I was surprised to see the cook and a few maids bustling around.“Oh, you’re back,” I said, more relieved than I ex

  • The Billionaire's Campus Crush   Chapter Seventy-Five: Seeing Jesse crying

Tamara’s POVAs Jesse’s car pulled to a stop in front of Kevon’s house, I took a deep breath, trying to shake off the strange tension between us. The entire drive, Jesse had been acting overly protective, going on about rules like “no touching” and “one meter apart,” all because of Kevon. I knew he was jealous, and though I teased him about it, I found it oddly sweet that he didn’t want anyone else getting too close to me. His possessiveness was something we’d have to deal with later, but for now, I had to focus on meeting Kevon.Climbing out of the car, I tugged at the baggy jeans and oversized shirt Jesse had made me wear. He was determined no one else should find me attractive today, apparently. I gave him a little wave as he drove off, his intense gaze lingering on me until the car turned the corner. Smiling to myself, I turned toward Kevon’s house, eager to catch up with my friend. As I walked up the steps, something seemed off. The front door was slightly ajar. Frowning, I hesi

Jesse's POVThe usual drive to the family mansion felt so unusual today. It felt like going to my own durgen, the same woman who had been manipulating my father and I had lived in the same mansion all these years. The betrayal and silence was pressing down on me. As I pulled up the driveway, I had once thought it was perfect until it all began to unravel. I parked and stepped out, my chest tightening with every step toward the front door. My mind was racing, wondering what was waiting for me this time.As soon as I stepped inside, I froze. The sight before me was not what I expected.Aunt Serena was standing near the entrance, her eyes red as if she had been crying. But the real shock hit me when I saw my father, sitting in the living room, his face buried in his hands. And there, in front of him, was Olivia on her knees, her wrists in handcuffs with a few police officers standing close to her. She was sobbing uncontrollably, pleading with him, but her words barely registered in my h

I couldn't help but reflect on how everything was finally coming together, and yet, there was a nagging feeling in the back of my mind. Christina and Olivia. I still couldn’t wrap my head around it. If someone had told me they were related, I would have laughed in their face. Now, though, it all made sense. I couldn't just still believe that my father and I were caught up in the middle of the manipulation of a mother and daughter and none of us ever found out. Every step Olivia made was all part of her planned twisted game.I sighed, rubbing a hand over my face. My thoughts were heavy, too heavy to shake off easily. But then I turned and saw Tamara, her body curled up under the sheets, breathing softly. Her face was so peaceful, but I could help but still feel guilty. I don't just deserve her. I knew I had talked to her with so much boldness but I was still freaking inside, I stood still for a moment, absorbing the sudden quiet. Everything was finally falling into place. I turned to Jesse, my heart raced for him, but for a different reason now. He stood there, his posture tense, as if waiting for another blow to fall. His eyes, familiar eyes held a hint of guilt like he was doing something very bad. His look was getting softer. “I'm sorry,” he said, breaking the silence. With a very low tone, almost hesitant, as if the weight of everything around him was too heavy to bear. “I'm sorry for everything I made you go through. You didn’t deserve any of it.”I shook my head softly, stepping closer to him, wanting to close
