Chapter 26

Avery rushed out of the examination room after hearing two simultaneous screams which he was sure came out from his sister and Zoe. They stood at the same spot Zoe had stood when she had received that ridiculous package few days ago and he knew nothing could come out from that gathering.

“What is the matter?” He asked as he got to them. The maids were beginning to gather but his mother managed to dismiss them with just one look. “What is it?”

Mia turned to him. “We got a very weird package.” She said, pointing to Zoe’s hands.

Avery quickly snatched the empty box from Aaron, noticing the shocked look on Zoe’s face. “Well, how about you don’t open things that doesn’t belong to you?”

“It was addressed to the Trent family.” Aaron argued, taking the note from Zoe and handing it to his brother. "It didn’t specify who exactly."
