Chapter 72

The party droned on. People danced, drank, and eventually sat down—thankfully Alessa was far away from Kyle and Aspen. Speeches and thank yous began and took another hour. PHAT was called out for helping complete the charity events goal, and Camelot and Kyle were thanked for helping with setting up the gala and helping fund the event.

Finally, the dancing began again and the rich got to drinking and overall debauchery. Alessa had enough and walked out to get some fresh air.

She kept walking till she ended up on a large concrete porch looking out to a small lake.

Here, this is where she would have been had she found it earlier. She sighed and took in the calm. Even the water was making low, quiet sounds.
