“So sorry ma'am," the words came evident with worry and empathy. Hearing her words clogged my already messed up heart with emotions the most.

“It's well ma'am," she pulled me to sit up but she couldn't because my face was already creased with a frown and my whole body grew weak which I couldn't tell if it was due to crying or my shattered heart. I lay on the couch devastated.

After trying to make me sit up but to no avail Selena gave a deep sigh in frustration, “I think I will make you a cup of coffee. Like you always tell me it makes you feel better," she said worriedly and I sat up quickly crossing my hands on my tummy as I frowned at her in reprimand to her words.

She leaped in, wrapping her hands around my body. I couldn't bring myself to return the hug, instead, I buried my face in her chest and immediately, my chest swelled up with heavy emotions and I screeched, transforming into a loud outburst of tears.
