I ran my hand down my face as my head was cringed, lost in thoughts, my heart was a mess with random thoughts running through it. I swiftly looked up when I heard footsteps approaching just to see Dr. Lucas.

I sprung on my feet as I rushed to him, my feet ramming on the floor,

“How is she?" I asked, with my arms opened by my sides and my worried gaze locked with his as my heart pounded in apprehension.

He heaved a deep sigh as he cringed his head removing the nose mask which covered his nose, he shook his head slowly as he looked at me. It took me a lot to control myself due to his sluggish attitude since I hate it when it comes to urgent matters and some folks would be behaving like nothing serious when someone's life is at stake.

I groaned inwardly as I was running out of patience, the worry on my face gradually changing into a glare.

“I can't tell when she will awake because her condition is so critical," he heaved another sigh as he shook his head again, pulling his li
