Chapter 6: If I Have All the Time in the World

It felt like time was suspended in the air. Everything that surrounded Therese had stopped moving except for the two. Her eyes were as big as saucers as she watched in horror how Raven eagerly fucked the blonde girl under him. She couldn’t look away.

“What the hell?” When she finally regained her composure, Therese quickly took a step back as she covered her eyes to hide the sinful scene away.

“Don’t look away!” Raven commanded in a deep and hurried voice as he continued to smirk and pound the girl. “I want you to see a glimpse of what’s to come for you, baby.” He said in between heavy breaths and Therese found herself peeking between her fingers.

Was he out of his mind?! Therese was speechless. “Hold on…I’m about to…” Her eyes were glued to Raven’s toned abs down his manhood that was plunging in and out of the woman’s dripping hole. She was on all fours now, letting out ah’s and oh god’s nonstop.

“This is insane. You are insane.” Therese muttered as she swallowed hard. She thought she was stronger than this. Yet, a part of her was mesmerized by the dirty scene. A gush of liquid traveled down her core watching and hearing Raven and the girl. She was torn between running away or joining them. What the hell was wrong with her?

Therese swallowed hard. Whatever Raven saw on her face must have brought him satisfaction because when Therese looked up to meet his gaze, a victorious smirk was displayed on his sweaty but insanely hot features. Suddenly, he grabbed the woman harshly, driving her body upwards and arching her back forcefully. He pulled her nape closer to his mouth, all while maintaining a heated eye contact with Therese. “Therese…I wish you were the one under me. Taking my cock like the slut you are.”

The blonde woman moaned louder. Unlike her, she seemed unaffected by Raven’s words. She didn’t seem to be weirded out by the situation at all.

The room was getting hot.

The man pulled her hair by the roots and enclosed one arm around her waist as the sound of skin clapping against skin echoed in the room. The woman’s toes curled as she reached her climax. Her blush intensified. “Fuck…Therese, baby…you’re so hot.” With a final groan, Raven followed her release. He pushed one final deep thrust before abruptly pulling out and spilling his seed all over the blonde girl’s back.

It was getting hotter.

When all was said and done, she was certain that she turned into a statue. The girl walked past her and winked playfully before disappearing down the hallway.

Therese pinched herself just to make sure she wasn’t dreaming at all.

“If I’m going to do this, that…whatever that was, is not going to happen again.”

“I promise you, it won’t. Not in front of you, at least.”

“Raven!”

“What? Were you under the false assumption that you’re the only woman I’m going to bed?”

Well. That hurt a bit. “N-no? Of course, not.” That was a lie. If she was being honest, she was expecting their deal to be a clean deal. But what a fool she was. She hoped that Raven didn’t notice the shift in her gaze as she looked away to face the mansion’s window pane.

“Good. Let me tell you, though. You are my special girl.” Raven leaned against the marble dining as he brushed a finger over Therese’s burning cheek. He was wearing nothing but a night robe despite it being 2 in the afternoon. She rolled her eyes as she leaned away.

“Look. I worry about Keith, okay? He shouldn’t be hearing and seeing you do those things.”

“Oh, so you met him already? Isn’t he cute?” He crossed his arms over his chest as he wore a nostalgic look in his eye. “He is. But he’s distant and quiet. We have to do something about that.” Suddenly, Therese remembered the reason why he sought the man in front of her in the first place. She needed to talk to him about Keith.

“Right. Let us discuss your job then.” He walked towards the opposite direction and dragged the wooden chair a little too rough. Raven sat down as his eyes meant business. “You are to be his nanny. I’ll send you a copy of his daily schedule and uh…of course, you’ll help him with school stuff as well.”

Therese furrowed her eyebrows at the uncertainty in Raven’s words. She closed her eyes and sighed heavily. She guessed she would deal with his fatherhood or lack thereof later. For now, she would need to make a plan on how to guide Keith properly.

The boredom on his face was suddenly changed by a hungry expression she was too familiar with. “And at night…”

Argh! Does this man only think about sex? Is the head located between his legs, the only head he has?!

“...when you’re done taking care of him, just knock on my–”

“Will you stop?!”

It was still day time, after all.

A week has passed and Therese was finally able to adjust to her new life. Naturally, it was easier to memorize the parts of the mansion than she originally thought. She learned that Raven has a personal chef that cooks for all the people in the house. A gardener who maintains the nature vibe of the place, and a driver for Keith. She wondered why all of them were older, male employees.

Most of the time, Raven was away from the house. It was something Therese was most thankful for these days. She wasn’t prepared to fulfill the “other” part of the contract yet.

“Hey! Over here!”

“Aly! Finally.”

Today, she invited her best friend to come with her to Keith’s primary school. The child was supposed to have a presentation and he needed a parental figure to watch him. Of course, Raven could not attend so she was in his place instead. She was beaming with excitement as she considered this her first task.

When the two girls finally entered the auditorium, it was already dark. The stage lights were prepped and the children, probably Keith’s classmates, were already lined up. “It seems like we’re almost late.” Aly whispered to her direction when they were finally able to find a comfortable place to sit.

Therese noticed that out of all the children lined up on stage, Keith was the only one wearing a sullen face. He looked among the crowd in hopes to see a familiar figure but sighed heavily when disappointment met his little heart. The child glanced over at his classmates jumping in joy as they saw their parents cheer for them. She could tell that he was holding back his tears.

“Keith! Hey! Keith!”

She stood up with a heart full of pride as she called for him. Beside her, Aly was caught in embarrassment of her loud voice and was trying her best to pull her bestfriend down. “Keith! I’m here! Do your best. I’m watching you!” She waved her arms with all her might to catch the kid’s attention on stage. Soon enough, Keith looked at her direction and his face lit up with joy. He stood a little taller now that he saw there was someone cheering for him.

“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for attending Lexington Academy’s annual spoken poetry presentation, kids edition!” The announcer took the center of the stage to introduce the children one by one. “Take a seat and enjoy the show!”

Loud claps filled the auditorium as cheerful voices slowly died down to listen to the children recite their originally made poems. The theme was “Things I Wish To Do.” It was the perfect time for the children to talk about their dreams and the jobs they wanted to do in the future. Some spoke about wanting to be a doctor. While the others told the audience they wanted to start an ice cream shop. Watching them made Therese’s heart swell and she made sure to clap for each and every child’s presentation.

But when it was finally Keith’s turn, the people were quiet once again.

Two little feet approached the microphone. There was a loud high-pitched sound when he stood too close to it. Trembling hands held a piece of paper. “H-Hello everyone. My name is Keith Desmond.”

At the mention of the Desmond surname, everyone murmured.

“My poem is entitled, If I Have All the Time in the World.” Therese could hear the nervousness in Keith’s voice but she believed he could ace this performance. She held herself back from calling him and cheering for him for the last time. Instead, she prepared herself to listen.

“I-If I have all the time in the world, I will learn about the stars.”

“I will learn about our body and why some wounds result in scars.”

Therese held her breath.

“I will grow up quickly so no one will look down on me.”

“I will search for God to ask him what I was made to be.”

There was a lump forming at the back of her throat. Suddenly, her vision was starting to become watery.

“If I have all the time in the w-world…”

“I will give it to my dad. ”

“I will close my eyes and pray…”

Silence.

“...that he will ask me, how’s my day..”

Before she knew it, tears were already falling down her face. She looked over to her left in time to see Aly silently rubbing her eyes too.

By the time people were already stepping out of the auditorium, Therese could not help but to carry Keith in her arms. She tried her best to hide her tears-streaked face but as expected, the kid was perceptive.

“Did you cry?” He asked Therese in a monotonous voice.

“No?” She responded plainly, suddenly interested in the gold medal hanging by his neck. But the kid was not having it. “Thanks for attending my performance. But, I could walk just fine, you know. You could put me down now.”

Therese wanted to shield him from the world. He wanted to rip his heart out and scrub it clean of all the hurt at his early age, then place it back shining from innocence. She hated that at 5 years old, the child was forced to mature. Oh, she will kill Raven for this.

“I know but let me just do this…please?” She pleaded.

Keith considered her for moment before sighing like an old man. “Fine. But just until the gates, okay?”

She nodded happily.

“You were amazing, back there Keith! My name’s Aly!” Beside her, Aly beamed with equal joy as she introduced herself to Keith.

“Hello! Nice to meet you.”

Aly giggled. “You’re such a cutie, aren’t you?”

“Hey, Keith. Would you like some ice cream?” Therese asked the moment she saw an ice cream shop nearby. “My treat.”

The kid just gently nodded as a faint blush appeared on the tips of his ears. As they walked towards the shop, he was protesting to be put down but Therese didn’t miss the sudden tightness of his fists clinging to the sleeves of her shirt. She smiled to herself.

She finally granted his wish and put him down when the three of them reached the counter. “Go on and choose whatever you want.”

But the second Therese and Aly found a highchair to sit on, an unfamiliar voice whispered a threat in her ear, sending shivers down her spine.

“Hand over the Desmond kid."
