Bonnie's POVMy days in the academy were going well, until I met someone I didn't expect to see in this place, Ashley fucking Davis. What the fuck was the pampered princess of hell doing here? She surely didn't come as a student, did she? Maybe she wanted someone to make her a dress or something. But then, my mind was totally blown when I learnt that she was in fact a new student here. The sight of her alone seemed to irritate the hell out of me.She carried herself with a kind of arrogance that seemed to come natural to her, and she spoke to people like her father owned the establishment. Well, I would not be surprised if he did.I was in one of the rooms one afternoon. I had just finished with making a dress, which I might consider to be one of the most complicated I had ever made. People stopped to admire my work, and I was hella proud. It was a silk dinner dress, intricately and elegantly sewn, as it falls to the ground in ripples. It was designed lace, embroideries and pearls tha
Bonnie's POVEverything had been going fine until last night. Even Ashley seemed to stay out of my way. The run way event was tomorrow, and I had all my clothes set, all six different kinds. We were asked to get three models, and it wasn't much trouble for me, finding them. Myra was ready to help out, and I got two others. I was going to pay all three. The problem now was something I was too ashamed to admit, and very guilty about too. I had been scammed, by Kelvin.I thought he was interested in me, and I let my guards down, because I liked him too. I was too ashamed, because this was not something that I would fall for. I could smell scam from a mile away, but I didn't see this one coming at all.Something was wrong with my phone, and Kelvin asked to see it. He said he was going to help me fix it, and I had opened it for him. I truly could not explain how it happened, but hours later, he had given me my phone, but I could not find him anywhere. I realized that he had cleared my acco
Bonnie's POVFuck! Fuck! I need to look for a way to salvage this situation."Please." I held Nessa's hand in a desperate firm grip. "Please." I repeated. I can't do this without you."This meant a lot to me, and the both of them pulling out at the last minute... I was barely holding myself together."Nessa, please I can't find anyone else at this time.""Why did the both of you fucking wait to this time to pull out?" Myra almost yelled, but she held herself. But Nessa just shook her head and left. I turned to Myra, looking helpless. I needed to find replacements in about ten minutes. Two replacements."What do I do?" My voice came out low, pained and desperate. I was angry at what Ashley did, and I really wanted to barge in there and smack her head somewhere, but I wanted to think of a solution first."Calm down, let us think. I don't know how long it will take me to get you a replacement, but let me try..." She stepped out before I could even say anything to her, and I was left alon
Bonnie's POVAfter the bidding event ended, I was determined to find that anonymous bidder, but I had no idea where to start. There were so many people here, and I didn't even know who he was.Edgar. Alia said the person that paid her to model for me was Edgar. I believed that he was the anonymous bidder, it could not just be a coincidence. I didn't even get his last name, and Alia seemed to have left the vicinity."Is there a problem?" Chloe asked from behind me."I need to find the anonymous bidder, but I don't even know where to start from. There are so many people here. I need to thank him. His name is Edgar, that's all I learnt from Alia.""Maybe he will look for you. Since he went out of his way to bid such huge amount, I believe he would like to see you." Chloe said, smiling broadly."Chloe..." I took her hands, facing her, before squeezing them tight. "Thank you so much.""It is nothing you will not do for me."My eyes stung. Tears of happiness, relief, triumph... "You had no
Bonnie's POV As usual, Myles was calm beside me. He still had his usual calculating look in his eyes, as he studied me from time to time. "I didn't know you would come." A low chuckle. "You had invited me, Damsel." I bit half of my lower lip gently. "I know, but... You don't seem like that kind of person." Now he raised an amused brow. "What made you think that?" I merely shrugged. "You seem... I don't know how to put it. But this sought of things does not suit you." I looked at him, and swallowed when those brown eyes staring back at me demanded an explanation. "You are mysterious. I know that you told me that you have a farm, and you like simple things like gaming, but... You seem like a dangerous person." "Dangerous..." He drawled. "Interesting." Now a smile danced on his lips, as if he was finding what I was saying amusing. "Do you find me scary then?" I shook my head. "No. Not at all. You are... Safe." "Dangerous, safe. You seem to be contradicting yourself, damsel."
Bonnie's POV It's been two weeks since I won the runway and the bidding competition. And just as I expected, I gained lots of contracts, both for myself and the establishment. Now all the teachers and superiors were fawning over me. I had been extremely busy, and I also didn't want to catch a break. I needed this distraction, because anytime I am idle, I find myself thinking about him. Since our last encounter, I had not been able to get him out of my mind. I told him that I wanted to know him, but he pushed me away with a warning. He wanted to scare me, but that only served to intrigue me more. That only fired the desire to unravel the layers of him, to see him raw and vulnerable. I was presently at home right now, in my work room, but I was not doing anything meaningful. I was just going through a wedding dress I made for someone, trying to find a fault in it, but there was nothing. It was a Saturday afternoon, so I didn't go to the academy today. "You have been here all day."
Bonnie's POVMyles came back only a few minutes later, and I almost laughed at the expression on his face. He was probably tired of me being here."Will you teach me how to play? Just for a short while. Ten minutes, then I will leave.""It is late already." He grumbled.I chuckled lowly. "It isn't that late."He pinched the bridge of his nose, before letting out a sigh. "Fine."He walked up to me, and my heart skipped when he was standing right behind me."Get the stick."I did as he said.He then placed his right hand over mine from behind, his palm rough against my skin. His other hand came to my shoulder, trying to steady me."This is rather ridiculous. I am about to teach a stubborn drunk girl how to play billiard."I didn't know if he did it on purpose, but he was too close to my ear, and his voice... it made the hairs at the back of my neck stand. He was also very close to me, my back touching him, and I was too fucking aware. Did he say I was drunk? As if he was not close enoug
Ethan's POV Chloe asked me to fly her on my helicopter. She had not mentioned it since the time I used it to rescue her from Joshua Parson, until this morning, so I decided to take her this night. She told me how surprised she was that day, and I found her absolutely adorable. The excitement on her face rubbed off me the moment I took my to the private helipad in this estate. I opened the door for her and helped her climb, before going to the other side and joining her. Chloe was grinning from ear to ear. Her hand hovered like she wanted to touch something, anything, but maybe she was afraid she would spoil something. I came to to her, and helped her put on her seatbelt and helmet, which had a headset attached to it. I knocked on the helmet, and she glared at me. "You look lovely." I teased, but it was true anyway. I went to my seat and did the same for myself. "Are you ready?" I asked as I turned to her. She closed her eyes tightly, before inhaling deeply and exhaling. She repe
