Chapter 48- No more hiding

Chloe's POV

I quickly snapped out of the haze I was in and ran out of the room. I was ignoring the ache in my core, because I knew that it was Ethan outside. It would just be for a little while longer before I see him again.

"Chloe get back here. Chloe!" Joshua yelled as he came after me.

I ran into the kitchen, grabbing a knife and pointing it him. "If you come any closer, I swear, I will stab your fucking balls."

He raised his hands, his eyes glued to the knife. He was looking at it cautiously because of the carefree way I was handling it. I was sending a threat to him, and I was more than ready to stab him if he comes any closer to me.

He was going to say something, before I heard loud bangs from the doors downstairs.

"You are not going anywhere!" Joshua bellowed, before rushing to grab me. But I didn't give him the opportunity. I stabbed the knife into his stomach before I ran off to the stairs.
