Chapter 64: Manor

Hendrix didn't hesitate to go after seeing the address. He quickly hailed a cab and went there as soon as possible.

Margaux, Liana's secretary, was already outside the gate, waiting for him when he reached the place.

“You made the right choice,” she grinned, then gestured to the humongous gate in front of them. “She's already inside, shall we?” she stated.

Hendrix took a deep breath and looked up at the familiar mansion. He only had been there once and it was too recent to forget about the details. Following the woman, they walked through the beautiful garden until they reached the enormous front door.

“Good evening Miss, Sir,” the butler politely greeted.

“Good evening!” The woman greeted back, rather enthusiastically.

The butler chuckled which made Hendrix think the two knew each other.

“You should go inside, miss. Your Majesty looked bored already,” said the butler.

“Alright,” the woman chirped then. “You heard it. Let's go!”
