Chapter 68: Flowers

Margaux drove to the hospital and met with Doctor Pablo as she promised. The doctor was very pleased as she was his favorite student before when she entered med school.

“Don't you want to continue your medical studies?” asked the old man.

She quickly shook her head in response, “The only reason I entered med school was to have some basic knowledge about medicine. And I'm already content that I know how to do first aid. I don't think I will be a good doctor and it's not the field my heart desires,” she replied casually.

The doctor sighed, “I understand. It's just a shame to not have someone like you in the medical field,” he lamented.

Margaux chuckled, “You sound like I'm a genius, doc. But thank you for the compliment,” she chirped. “Anyways, I'm here not to chat with you about my plans. I'm here to confirm if Wilma really has kidney failure”

“Oh, that. The patient hasn't gone through ultrasound. They decided to just take an MRI scan instead, that's why it was rescheduled later,”
