Chapter 362: Mastermind

Hendrix narrowed his eyes as he looked at Liana who was shaking her head while putting down the phone.

“She hung up on me,” she informed.

His lips pursed tightly. It was not surprising to him at all, because Margaux probably thought Liana was an ally of the King. But it was really just part of him and Gino’s plan, and thankfully, the woman was willing to cooperate with them and go against her own father.

“She must be mad at you,” he stated.

“I will also loathe myself if I were in her shoes,” Liana retaliated.

He shook his head.

He had already expected it but still, he could not help but feel hurt for Margaux. She did not deserve it and he was certain that he would no longer be forgiven once she learned what really happened.
