Chapter 364: Doorbell

Margaux’s forehead creased as she walked out of the mansion. She already saw the whole place but still, her cousin was still in their rooms and none of them woke up yet.

“Are they still sleeping?” She queried when she saw Helena.

The old lady was about to answer when she heard loud footsteps from the grand staircase. She lifted her head and saw Daisy clinging with Jack as they walked down the stairs.

Suddenly, her heart stung.

She unexpectedly felt jealous not because she secretly liked her cousin's fiance but she was jealous that they were together while she was alone and heartbroken.

Looking away, she took a deep breath and forced herself to smile.

“Where are the others?” she queried when the two finally reached the ground floor.

“They’re coming down too,” Daisy replied. “What’s for lunch?”

Margaux looked at Helena silently asking if she had cooked already, fortunately, the old lady nodded her head and smiled at her.

“I was about to tell you that the food is ready, Ma’am..”
