Chapter 34: Mad

“Margaux! Let's talk! Don't run away from me!”

Hendrix's voice rang out but Margaux continued running away and just ignored him. He ran after her, but a loud curse escaped his mouth when he lost her and just disappeared after turning to the left corner.

“Margaux!” he screamed.

He looked around and checked all the rooms she could possibly be hiding, but he saw nothing as if the woman could teleport somewhere else and disappeared without any trace.

‘This place sure has secret doors,’ he thought.

Upon realizing that, he let out an exasperated sigh and shook his head.

It was very obvious that Margaux was avoiding him. He just wanted to talk to her and asked her about the fake name she used in their marriage contract. He badly wanted to know her reason why she did that. As he was still in denial that she was not the Margaux he legally married.
