Chapter 303: Pain

Her knees gave up upon seeing her cousin inside. She had forgotten that Daisy was also admitted there as all she could think of was Hendrix.

“Margaux? How can you walk here? Jack! Please carry her here!” Daisy said in panic.

She wanted to protest when Jack squatted and effortlessly carried her, but her right foot was really painful that she could not move anymore.

Daisy quickly got out of her bed and let Jack lay her down there. She also checked her bandaged foot before scowling at her.

“What are you thinking?” Her cousin reprimanded, “Didn’t you know that your bones here are broken? It's still swelling and painful! Why did you walk here alone?!”

Despite the pain from her foot, she still notices her cousin’s anger towards her action. She really was not meant to go there. It was just a mistake because she thought it was Hendrix’s room.

“Where’s Dinah and Saab? They are supposed to look out for you!”
