Chapter 192: Wingman

Margaux grunted as she shut her eyes.

She couldn't believe what was happening and how it suddenly turned out like that so fast!

“I knew it! This is already a big deal so we have no way now but to just make it real!” Mrs Garcia stated.

Her voice was loud and full of enthusiasm which made her open her eyes in an instant.

“Mom..” Josh reprimanded her.

The old woman just beamed at him though, then turned to face her and gently grabbed her clasped hands. “Dear, that's for your own good. You just took over your father's post, it's better to keep your name flawless to avoid any problem in the future”

Her stomach churned. She didn't like everything that she said and felt like she was imposing something behind those words. However, before she could open her mouth to question her, Josh beat her to it and pulled his mother's hands away from hers.

“Mom, stop,” he said gently opposite to his eyes, sharply looking at the old woman.

Mrs Garcia seemed taken aback. Her eyes went round and her m
