Chapter 189: Dislike

Hendrix hesitantly accepted the business card. His thick eyebrows furrowed upon seeing a familiar yet unfamiliar name written on it. Puzzled, he looked at Daisy with a big question mark on his face.

“That's my friend. You have met her already. She could help you with your problem with my cousin,” the woman said with a knowing smile then went inside the manor, leaving him astounded.

Frozen, he just stood there alone while staring at the business card in his hand. He tried to remember where he heard that name but it was just hurting his head. Although Daisy said he already met her, he found it absurd for he didn't remember interacting with anyone that was related to them aside from Liana.

Hendrix just snapped out of his trance when he heard loud footsteps coming near him. Subconsciously, he quickly went inside the manor and hid behind the golden life size statue next to the grand staircase.

“Is it true that Margaux has been married before?”

His ears perked up upon hearing Margaux’s
