Chapter 103: News

Hendrix stared at Margaux's phone with a scowl for a long second after the call just abruptly ended. He cannot believe the woman just hung up on him after asking for his address. Thinking about it, he suddenly got a bad feeling that she will either come to get Margaux's phone or have someone take it from him.

Shaking his head, his grip on the phone tightened as he didn't like either of the two.

“I will be the one to give it back to her,” he muttered with full determination.

Standing up, he stepped out of his apartment once again. He was already hungry anyway, therefore, he'd go somewhere far from that place to eat late lunch and to avoid whoever was going to knock there.

“Where are you going?” the landlord asked as he stepped out of the elevator.

Hendrix's brows furrowed as he stared at the landlord. “Somewhere,” he answered curtly.
