Chapter 1

“ Hannah” Mrs Wills called Hannah to come downstairs, Hannah was already dressed in her high school uniform, she walked downstairs to respond to Mrs Wills smiling.

“ Mrs Wills! You called for me” she said.

“ Yes, I did. You will no longer be staying in this house anymore and start from this moment” Mrs Wills said and Hannah was shocked.

“ Mrs Wills! What do you mean? I don’t understand” she asked as she was nervous, she thought she had done something wrong.

“ Have I done anything wrong? I can mend my ways” she said.

“ You haven’t done anything wrong dear. It’s just that my husband has a lot of complain about you and I have to reason with him. I don’t want his political ambitions to be ruined because of you Hannah. I understand that your mother was working here as a cook before her death and I have promised to help you out but I don’t I can fulfill the promise anymore, I can’t help anymore, I don’t want lose my home because of you. You go to a local low class high school and you also stay in a tiny room in this house so it might be affect our career if you continue to stay here” Mrs Wills said and tears drop from Hannah’s eyes and she saw the maid bringing her suitcase luggages downstairs.

“ Where will I stay? I have no one and I don’t want to go back to the village” she said in tears.

“ I am sorry but you leave now” Mrs Wills said and Mrs Wills had ordered the security to escort Hannah out, the security escort her out of the house with her luggages and they lock the security gate, she was in tears, it’s was cloudy and it started to rain, Hannah’s high school uniforms was wet, her plain blond hair was wet, she was lost in thought in tears thinking and flashing back how her mother use to work as a cook in the wills family before her mother’s death and how her mother always cares for her and a car was about to hit her, she stood in shocked.

Dan Hills get down from his car in anger because he was on his way to work, he walked closer to in anger, he stopped and stood when he saw her crying in the rain.

“ Are you ok?”He asked, Hannah raised her head and she nods her head.

“ Yes, I am fine. I am sorry for almost causing an accident” She said and she was about to leave and Dan stopped her.

“ Wait minutes. Where are you going with your luggages inside this heavy rain?” He asked, Dan raised her head staring at him.

“ I don’t know where I am going to” she replied, Dan was already wet and can’t go to work anymore, he was surprised that Hannah does not have a destination.

“ Come with me” he said and Hannah stare at him.

“ But I don’t know” she said, Dan pitied her.

“ I know. We can get to know each other”he said.

“ Are you sure?” She asked and Dan nods his head and he took her luggages into the car, she entered the front seat while, Dan entered the driver’s seat, Dan Hill called the MD of his company and he informed him that he won’t be able to attend office on that day due to some circumstances and he has asked the MD to inform the workers that he will be at the office the next day, he drops the call and he drove off.

Hannah steal a look at Dan Hills, she stare at him crying and still wet, Dan noticed that she was staring at him and he gave her a wiper to wipe her tears, Hannah took the wiper from him and she wipe her tears staring at him.

“ Why you looking at me that way?” He asked.

“ I just wanted to say thank you” she said, Dan nods his head and he continues to drives.

After some minutes, Dan drove into his house, he gets down from his car and he turned to the other side to open the door for Hannah, she gets down from the car, Dan had ordered the security to help with Hannah’s luggages, Dan walked Hannah into his big mansion and he asked her to take her seat in the couch, he called for the maid and he asked the maid walked Hannah and her luggages to the guest room, the maid escort Hannah to the guest room and after some time, Dan went to meet her in the guest room, he knocked on the door and Hannah opened the door and she was already changed in another dress, Dan stare at her.

“ Can I come in?” He asked and Hannah nods her head and he entered.

“ Why were you on the streets in the heavy road crying? Don’t you have family?” He asked.

“ I am an orphan. Lost my parents already, the people that promise to take care of me and help me but surprisingly to me, they asked me to leave because of their political ambitions, they said that, I am to low to their class, even the high school I attend is a low class and I won’t staying with them any longer, I tried to begged them but they asked me to leave” Hannah said in tears.

“ Please Mr! Can I stay here for a while until I think of a solution or can you offer me a job, I promise I will do anything just to earn some money and continue my education in high school, I promise my mum that no matter what I will not drop out of high school, my mother was not chance to be educated and she wants me ti be educated” she said in tears.

“ Don’t you have relatives?” He asked.

“ No, after my dad died when I was still a baby, my mum run away with me because they wanted ti kill her along with me so my dad’s relatives are evil and my mum’s relative hated my mum because she was an orphan” she said.

“ Why did they wanted you dead and your mum?” He asked and Hannah was in tears staring at Dan.
