Rowan's POV

"Your out of your mind Rowan," one of the warriors interjected. " We can't just sit here and fold our arms."

I turned to him. "I've not said such. Sitting around and folding our arms would lead us to a more effective doom. No not that." I turned to to Nathan. " We have to fight smartly my lord."

He was growing impatient, and I could feel it . "And how do we suppose to do that?" he asked.

" We need to use our warriors wisely, not just throw them into battle like a cannon fodder just like you intend to, " I replied, hoping that he would dance to my tone.

And he did.

"How dare you question my style?" He thundered, taking steps towards me. The raised platform he stood on made him look tall and devouring, but I tried to picture an equal opponent.

"I know them more than you do, believe it or not Nathan," I replied calmly.

He paused, his devouring stance changing instantly to one of a dull child.

His eyes widening in stunned silence, he whispered. "You do?"

I stood confidently.
