Chapter 130: Home

Oliver's POV

I stood, unable to contain my excitement as Ela and Ocean made their way out of the aeroplane that landed not long ago. My heart skipped with every step they took down the plane’s staircase.

Ocean saw me and waved, while Ela smiled charmingly at me as they got closer, and I walked to meet them halfway. I picked Ocean up and into my arms, and I kissed Ela’s lips, grateful that I was able to see them once again. I will always cherish this feeling.

“Welcome home, my love.” I placed my head against hers as we pulled away.

She reached out and stroked my face tenderly. “Thank you, babe. I missed you.”

I couldn’t help the smirk that curled at the side of my face as I stepped back. “You can show me just how much when we get home.”

She bit her red bottom lip and said, “Deal.”

We drove home, and Ocean strapped between us was the only reason my hands were not all over Ela like I wanted. She knew this, too.
