58. Agony

His heart had ceased to beat the moment he heard gunshots through the phone as Hooriya screamed. It was as if someone grasped his heart in a vicious hold and was squeezing the life out of him.

He was growling at his men to get the cars out as he grabbed his gun and got into the car putting it to drive.

He could hear her crying and his insides churned in anxiety as he sped through the traffic, cutting people off as he maneuvered through the cars on a freeway.
